A Superpower is Rising in the East

Well I know my last shout said that I was going to be gone for the week, but fortunately I have managed to come across some internet. Right now, I am paying a guy named Ralph $15 a minute so that I can use his internet. Because I am such a kind player, I have chosen to use my limited internet time to write an article for you so that you have something else to read besides another Congress platform. In my last article, I discussed the future of this game. The article was depressing and by my own admission probably a little more depressing than it needed to be. In that article, I highlighted five strong countries that were all decreasing in size. Today, I would like to write on a more optimistic note and highlight a country that is increasing in size, military strength, and is a country that I believe will be a major player in V2. Today my dear readers, I would like to bring to your attention, the eNation of eChina. Throughout the rest of this article, I will simply refer to them as China.

The Building Blocks

Population Size : As any experienced player will tell you, in this game numbers😛ower . Without a large population, it is almost impossible for a nation to have great success. People are needed to build the military and build the economy. The more people you have living in the nation the more companies that nation can support. This means that you also have more currency flowing into the national treasury which leads to greater success on the battlefield. On that note, I would like to present to you a graph. The graph below highlights the number of citizens that voted in China’s last 5 presidential elections. While not a perfect statistic, it still gives one a general idea as to the activity of a nation’s population. You can click on the graph below if you would like to increase the size.



As you can see from above, the active population in China is increasing at a rapid rate. Last presidential election, China passed Croatia in terms of numbers of voters and was only about 500 votes behind the USA. China is the most populous nation in real life, and it now appears that their people are discovering this game.

Military Strength - In this game, the strength of a nation is often determined by their ability to perform on the battlefield. While China is not currently considered a mighty military power, they are quickly approaching that status. China first caught my eye when they attacked Liaoning back in May. During that battle, the nation of China was able to deal out 786,249 damage. Though this number was impressive, if current trends keep up, this will only be the beginning for China. For instance, just last week when China re-attacked Liaoning they were able to deal out over two million damage. Just look at that statistic again. It is clear that China is rising quickly. However, what will the future hold for China?

The Future

At the current moment, China is in a very unique position. They are building a strong military, they have a growing population, and they have some high resource regions. However, China has not aligned themselves with EDEN or PHOENIX, which are the two major alliances in this game. Currently, it appears that China has a closer bond with EDEN, as they both share a common goal in removing Serbia from Liaoning , which is an original Chinese territory. However, things can change quickly in this game. For the time being, I believe that USA/ EDEN needs to stand united with our friends China as we help them rid the PHOENIX presence from their precious land. Today, I am calling on all of those reading this to spend some time learning about our friends in China. Read their eRepublik Wikipedia page or read their media. To read their media, simply click on the Community tab on your homepage, then scroll down and open up the news tab. Once there, select China as your country of interest and just like that you are now reading the Chinese media . If you find an English speaker, friend request them so you can see their shouts. Even though China has experienced defeat recently, please let them know that they have not been forgotten .



Friendship in the present is the gateway to success in the future

In closing, it is my firm belief that China is quickly approaching superpower status. While things could change in the future, at the moment we stand united with a common goal. Soon we will finally remove Serbia from Liaoning. Today, USA, EDEN, and China stands united as one Please take some time to provide encouragement to our friends in China. Until next time……..
