A Simplified Article On Why the eUS is Attacking eFrance
Tyler Jenkins
Over the past few days, I've seen a few articles spring up asking why the eUSA attacked eFrance. There have also been a number of people calling the eUSA untrustworthy and traitors when it comes to our relations with other countries around the eGlobe. Apparently, our explanations haven't been understood, so I've decided to simplify things further and draw it out for you folks.
If, during a battle, you see an avatar that looks something like these:
fly by, then you can expect to see avatars that look something like these:
to be fighting on the same side.
It really is that simple.
And, as to the "why" of it all...
A) eFrance, do you remember this:
or perhaps your hand in this:
😎
This:
beats this:
any day of the week. And finally...
C) WE WILL STAND BESIDE OUR FRIENDS!
In closing...we're sorry a friendship didn't work out, but do you really expect us to choose you, the country that invaded our territories, over those that have continually stood beside us? No…of course not.

I don't think that really addressed it at all.
Basically, we needed to launch a couple of blocking battles to keep initiative in the USA vs. UK war and also help Spain out by keeping initiative out of France's hands.
Now, we're trying to end the war because of all those MPPs we activated in our blocking battles.
Josh Frost said the same on his article, we need to close all the MPPs that blocking battles activated
oo la la
As Astra and JCFC have stated...yes, there are more important reasons for attacking. This article is meant to provide a few other reasons (and have some fun) for our eFrench friends that seem "shocked" by our actions.
Die Frechie die!
@Colin Lantrip: How… mature. 😑;;
In truth, our pet peeve isn't so much the involvement of US troops on the Spanish front; we're perfectly OK with that. Rather, it's the breach of the peace treaty, despite our now neutral stance.
Now I quite understand the whole 'help our allies' shtick—we're just as guilty of that in the past. But bringing that up each and every time is not exactly conducive to a peacful resolution of the conflict, now is it?
The invasion of Spain was, in truth, not only revenge on our part, but a strategic move of the PEACE war machine. The selfsame war machine that we started to question with the invasion of North America, and which ultimately led to our secession from PEACE/PHOENIX: the organisation, which had up till then been a defensive alliance, had become nothing more than a war-monger.
MPPs against Spain: Would YOU give up your MPPs against Indonesia? Didn't think so.
MPPs against the US: Shouldn't have attacked in the first place then, should you? (I'll freely admit I'm a bit bitter about that last, so please disregard it as the ramblings of a patriot)
France could have surrendered, but no they decided that they'd uncharacteristically fight to the death. EDEN is stepping in because we need to close the French front and direct Spanish damage elsewhere. That's a plain and simple enough reason.
Voted just cuz you used my avatar! \o/ TJ
Voted.
HAIL USA!
HAIL SPAIN!

@Ace-Blazer: 'uncharacteristically'? Did the US or Canada surrender during the invasion of North America? Did Spain surrender when we overran it? Did we surrender during French Toast? Did…
Come to think of it, has ANY country ever surrendered when in dire straits in this game? No.
So I don't see what's so uncharacteristic about it, unless you subscribe to that whole "cheese-eating surrender monkeys" nonsense.
France invaded Spain was a revenge for French Toast lol...
USA stop try to give you a good mind, you just are invading a neutral country with you signed a peace treaty 🙂
"Neutral"? Muahahaha.
Say bye to those mpp´s.
Please eUSA stop trying to justify yourselves by feeling "good".
Just admit you're not trustworthy and that you just want to add a mark to your pinboard of "easily conquered e-nations which are already knocked out on the ground and choking to death".
Just admit you're on the "evil" side, you'll see, it will make you feel much better 🙂
You dare to call this a "response"??? It is even not an article...
no problem😁
Maybe tonight France will be erase from the map.
But we will never trust you again in the future, and when France will be back, you will have an over eternal ennemis 😉
I have no screens of French Toast 1 and I regreat it, traitors !
Wow... French really are pansies... I guess some stereotypes ARE true.
Gary, the US did surrender but Russia didn't let them. To compare your situation to the US though is laughable. The US had allies willing to help, France did not; surrender would have been in everyone's interest. There's no chance of you going into the US or Spain now that you've lost the open MPPs.
@Ace_Blazer: And d'you know what? Had we not signed that peace treaty with the US, we'd have had 6-7 more allies to bring to bear in this war…
Anyway, France is done for now, so I suppose your strategists got what they were aiming for in the end. Congratulations are in order I suppose, 'well-played' and all that.
We'll be back, and we won't forget.
(although I wasn't aware the US had surrendered against Russia… bad sportsmanship on their part, that)
