What is Congress?
eUK's Congress is very similar to real world House of Commons.
There are 12 Regions in eUK (not counting the Belgian regions that have slightly different rules) and each currently has two available seats in Congress. In total, there are 40 seats across our nation, six of which are guarantied for the Belgians, the rest are for eUK party representatives.
Straight forward, you may think. Wrong, there are currently 70 Candidates running for 40 seats. This means YOU get to vote.
Regional Representation
You get one vote. This vote is used to decide which candidate from your region, best represents the opinions and ideals of citizens in that region.
You do not need to vote for your party.
You do not need to vote for your friend.
You should vote for the person YOU think will do the best job in the position of Congress.
What makes a GOOD Congressman
The House of Commons is currently found on the eUK forum. A Congressman is expected to regularly take part in discussions and vote on each Policy put forward to vote on. A good Congressman should be available to talk to the citizens of his region, be active on the forums, and have a good working knowledge of how eUK is run. Though it is not essential to be a member of the forum, it is very important that Congressmen join up and get involved.
When choosing your representative, my advise to you, would be to join the forums, (if you have not already), meet your potential Congressman, question him, get to know him. Also, make sure you read each of the Manifestos from the members runnings.
The Unity Party
This is a TUP newspaper, and so I feel inclined to tell you a little about our party. We are a center-left party, made up of a varied group of politicians. Each member put forward for Congress is more than capable. Every one of them has produced a Manifesto. ALL of them are entirely dedicated to you.

You tell people they need not vote for their party or their friend but the person, then you tell to vote TUP for congress 😛 Good luck TUP! (but vote MDU in the elections, or else God will smite us. 😛)
@Will, so why should you vote MDU? i have seen no difference between MDU and PCP (Besides saying you are right wing instead of left.)
So, a TUP press release, written by a member of TUP, in a TUP newspaper, covered in TUP logos, ought to be impartial?
