West Midlands Congress Elections

Day 395, 03:43 Published in United Kingdom Philippines by HazzN

I'm HazzN, and I shall be running for Congress in the West Midlands.

As a member of The Unity Party I stand for equality amongst all Citizens. This means that I want YOUR voices to be heard in The House of Commons. I stand to represent my region, not my own personal politics. Because of this, no matter how big or small the issue, I shall encourage you to contact me with your ideas.

As a regular member of the Regional Sub Forum I am easily contacted. This is where any discussion thread about anything you want your Member of Congress to know about should be started.

However, the forums should also be about fun and not just about political debate. Currently a team of us are trying to organize some Quizzes and games to get activity into the regional forums once more. If you vote me into Congress, this is certainly something I shall be throwing my weight behind.

As your Local NHS Director, my number one concern is for your Wellness. There are a number of things that can cause a citizens Wellness to drop dramatically, and it is these that I base my manifesto around.

1. Work
2. War
3. Gift Prices

1. Work
Currently the minimum wage is at 1GBP. If this was to increase then a number of Small Businesses would no doubt collapse. I disagree with increasing the Minimum wage, however, I do think wages should be fair. A company should reward workers with high productivity, increase pay depending on the quality of the work, and never fire a worker without sufficient warning and reason. It is these ideals that make make me support projects such as the Company Review Commission, which highlights good employers and encourages not so good employers to do better. It also allows you, the potential employee, to make an informed decision as to where you would like to work.

2. War
I am against any war that is not entirely necessary. I can understand that people wish to participate in battle and move up the ranks, creating a massive empire and one day recapturing the Commonwealth is certainly a nice idea. However, war ruins economies.

They are expensive, and takes money away from areas that may need it more. Wellness plummets resulting in sometimes unnecessary death, poor productivity and increased prices. The demand on gift production causes prices to sky rocket, which takes me to my next point.

3. Gift Prices
As an NHS Director, I am responsible for purchasing gifts and distributing them to anyone in the region who messages the West Midlands Clinic. Because the prices of gifts have gone through the roof, Directors all over the country can no longer do their jobs efficiently or effectively.

I therefore pledge to say NO to war, which is a major cause to the increase of prices and the decrease of Wellness.

I hope you shall consider me as your Regional Congressman.

Regards,
