Gas Explosion leaves Senator in Coma

A large gas explosion has shocked residents around the Victorian suburbs as they sat down for Friday night dinner. The Incident caused quite a considerable amount of damage to nearby properties and residents were forced to evacuate. Police sealed off over 10 streets, as Firefighters battled the blaze. Four People are seriously injured, while three people are in hospital with minor burns. Ex-Senator Australian Warlord, who is well known for his opinionated views, is currently in Victorian Hospital (Q5) with severe burns and tissue damage.

The Former Representive of Victoria is currently in a Coma and is soon to be transferred to the special burns unit before he goes into emergancy surgery. There has been quite a large amount of media attention circulating the large explosion which saw large flames shoot up, visible from a 10km radius. The police report however simply said that the explosion came down to AW having a BBQ, when all of a sudden his gas bottle exploded sending char grilled steaks and sausages flying in all directions.

Fire Investigators are questioning how the gas leak occurred, and some theorist beleive that it was a suicide gone wrong as the Ex-Senator battles depression. The hospital reports that while the flames had caused considerable damage, only his ego would be hurt from not fitting the gas tank properly. He is in a stable but steady condition.

Economy Report

The big story coming from the market this week is in relation to the price of grain.
As many people may have noticed it has severely decreased in price in the Q2 sector.
It had a percentage drop of just over 20%. This has pushed a lot of the grain companies into the red. Added onto this with the inflated wages circulating and it may not be long until quite a few grain companies are forced to shut their doors. Most of this is attributed to the increased amount of foreign food on the market for low prices, causing Australian food companies to go out of business and as such creating a decreased demand in grain.
Such things need to be addressed soon if Australia’s majority employer is to continue.

Johnathon Brown - Small Voice, Big Plans.

It is not everyday that you run into a Candidate for Congress. It isn't everyday you run into a Candidate that is running to make a difference and not just to fill their pockets.
Johnathon Brown, a quiet achiever amongst the eAustralian Population, but making a step forward. JB is running for Congress in Tasmania, under the banner of ADSP.
Although he has very little experience in Politics, he makes up for it with his Enthusiasm to learn. This 25th, Johnathon Brown will be looking for your vote.

ANN: Big Welcome Mr Brown, Great Pleasure to be the first to interview you on the dawn of your political career.
JB: My greetings to you and everybody..

ANN: When it comes to names, yours is relatively unheard of, could you give us a bit of background about yourself?
JB: Of course, I joined this game at about the end of May so I haven't even been playing a month, I stumbled onto IRC and I met a few people who helped me and taught me how to play, gave me advice.. what things to do and what things not do.. and turned me into the ePerson I am today.

ANN: What factors made you want to run for Congress?
JB: When I first Joined I went into the Country Administration and saw some of of the laws being proposed and thought 'Wouldn't it be great to be one of those people shaping eAustralia.. and ever since then it has caught hold of me. Since then I have always wanted to help make eAustralia a great country to live in,

ANN: What would you like to accomplish if you were elected?
JB: I would like to help along eAustralia become it's own country, That pretty much entails getting our states back, moving out into the eWorld and making eAustralia known.
Helping our allies wherever possible and hopefully (if possible) bringing the eWorld into a era of peace, because I do not believe war can settle all our problems. I would also help Australia's economy stay stable and fair while hopefully making new friends.

ANN: Is there anything you'd like to tell voters who might be reading this?
JB: I would like to tell them to vote for what they think is right, You might know people who are highly regarded or even been voted in for friendship. But vote for what you think is right and you will be satisfied with what you are given by Congress.

ANN: Thankyou Mr Brown and Best of Luck during the Elections.
JB: Thankyou Preditorian for allowing me to Join you.

Political Update

Federal Police are issuing Sidearms and Handguns in a effort to encourage personal protection amongst voters. The Federal Police have also begun posting pamphlets and advertisements in a effort to educate Citizens about the dangers of voting. One Outspoken Scientist has released a ten-page report about the Issue, which explains the risks posed during elections.

"Between the Sixteenth and Twenty-Fifth of every Month, a period commonly referred to as 'Elections', poses a dire risk to Citizens of all ages. Carnivirous Creatures known as the 'Senator' begin to migrate towards Populated Area's, where they hunt in packs known as 'Political Parties'. Although usually Isolated from the General Population, Senators will wander out from their caves and natural habitats in a effort to win votes. Without votes, the Creature would die in 1-2 days, or at least suffer extremely long periods of withdrawal."

With a growth of the nation, the concrentation of Senators become more widespread. New South Wales has always been a Popular hunting-ground for Senators, while Victoria has increased in Popularity after the Population was divided through the Q5 Hospitals. Northern Territory, Queensland and Tasmania are a less popular choice to Senators due to the lack of possible votes.

Optimus Australia under fire over Radioactive Grain

Health Officials are investigating claims that Optimus Grain has been experimenting, and even distributing Grain that has been genetically altered with Radiation. Several Complaints from workers at the Optimus Processing Plant said they began to suffer long periods of illness, before all of them were diagnosed with Radiation Poisoning.

When ANN went to the Processing Plant to speak to workers, Optimus Australia refused the newspaper any access. Security Guards immediately destroyed the camera, before physically removing our team from the site.

The eAustralia consumer watchdog is facing heavy criticism after his team inspected the plant a week ago and discovered nothing out of the ordinary. Optimus Australia CEO and Spokesperson Patti11 remains adamant that the grain is naturally grown and produced, and that the company holds their labour and consumer safety very seriously.

While Optimus Grain said sales have dropped signifignantly in the eAustralia market, there has been a rise in consumer interest in the eNorth Korean, eCuban and eRomanian markets.

eSports

Game Four in the Ashes has ended with a eAustralia Victory which threw the eAussies 3 - 1 in the Series. Although, the recent win is expected to be tainted and under investigation after there was some disrepute between the eUK selection. Communication was amongst the main contribution to the controversy, and neither party seems happy. The ICC is adamant the game had commenced within the Rules, and it is the team managers responsibility to answer and respond with the new team before the match.

The eAussies first innings began poorly, when Opening Batsmen Scotywest was caught behind and Blazin recieved a cut lip when a bouncer from English paceman Accalia caught the batsmen under the chin. Patti11 stood in the crease to make 33 runs, before spinning-sensation Shyguy1001 caught him on the pad. Blazin soon fell shortly after when he was caught on the boundary, before Arthur Cole walked into the crease. With a Mixture of Partners, Arthur Cole fought hard as Rangerbob watched his stumps snap in two. eAussie Captain, Zaney, could do little to assist Arthur when he went out on a controversial Lbw for the first bowl. Preditorian offered some insight before he too fell victim to Paceman Accalia.

Ten Cent Style and Iwarrior1 both fell instantly after Jan Baykara managed to produce some movement with the ball. Santic turned to assist Arthur Cole, and before the eAussies knew it, Arthur Cole had posted 165 runs before an amazing catch at Slip forced the batsmen on a long walk, but not before a loud applause from the spectators. Immediately after, Santic was left partnerless when Patrick Reckett met a early fate.

At the end of the first innings, eAustralia had posted a score of 10/293.

The Complete Results of the Game can be found out Here
