The House of Commons needs more seamen.

No, not that kin-... well.

The Every Single One (ESO) party resonates with individuality and diversity. So whilst other more "conventional" parties may field more politically more impressive short-term CVs, I feel I bring to Congress a special trapcard.

They say politicians are as oily as fish. And they don't come more fish-oily than twice-Commanding Officer of the Royal Navy.

Almost all the time I've spent in the game, I've been masquerading through the British Armed Forces.

I do like his tash...

Some of my other notable appointments being Officer Commanding, Baker Company, Royal Guard and General Officer Commanding, Army Training Corps. All in all, I've held an position of some kind in every single branch of the armed forces after the good old "Reserves" of 2008, up until now.

I've done alot more. Over my two years in eRepublik I've committed myself to various aspects of eUK life.

Thankfully, despite my age, I *can* still walk.

In other areas of the government, I've been four (or five... or six... heck, I can't even remember) times Under Minister of Home Affairs for the Wiki Department, souping up British-related wiki.erepublik.com articles for the benefit of all. I've tried my hand in foreign affairs working for the Foreign Office as Ambassador to South Africa.

I assure you this will be kept to a minimum during my term. Five tries max. Promise.

More relevant, I think, I've held five consecutive previous terms in office as Member of Parliament (Congressman) for London, where I spent much of my time chairing and helping the London Regional Council. Stepping up from congress, I was appointed to the (now abolished) upper house, the House of Lords, where I offered my services to streamline the legislation approved by Commons. I've also served on the senior committee, an advisory board to the House of Commons.

You know you do :3

So, vote this Salty Sea Biscuit for my sixth term in service to the good citizens of London. My history has shown be to be trustworthy, dedicated, and deserving of your vote. This election, remember that this is a game where real life politics doesn't matter, and it's down to the individuals.

Every Single One of them.

Thank you very much, and I wish all a good election on the twenty-fifth.

John F. Baker,
MBE DSO MID*
Commander-in-Chief Royal Navy
Duke of Buckingham
