1. Abolish funding the Military this includes USAF, and other militias. Basically any group funded by the government to fight.
2. Create National Food Program and IRC request program very similar to meals on wheels, the supply request of USAF, and stealthbot on IRC.
3. Transfer all former military funding to that food program. Hire workers to work the program and create a form to organize all the requests and what not.
The citizens who want to fight will have to go request on the form. Anyone can do this as long as they request. This will ensure the people who want to fight will get to fight, and the people who don't probably wont bother with requesting. People will also have to sign up on irc to request on irc, again if they want to fight they will do it.
Why do this? Well first to end the bickering and ensure fairness to everyone. This will make sure everyone gets the right to get food if you want it regardless of your avatar. Not everyone will request, but the ones who do will get food. Keep it simple and just have one form where you can request once a day and get your food. That's it.
Same with IRC. IRC is like phase 2 same with USAF, it's just there to prove activity.
Will this kill our damage in battles? I don't see why it would. Doesn't every government article have recruitment links to military? Answer is yes, and with this plan everyone would be entitled to food. Maximizing damage. Only problem will be the prideful people who refuse to request food, because they didn't get their way. That's the people who want to hurt the country.
How is this any different than MOW? Anyone can request. No level cut off.
How is this better than being in the military(any government funded group)? Anyone can do this. No str requirement, hit requirements, level req, avatar req, or anything else. Supplies should be scaled down to your hit or something else.
How is this better than 1% across the board tax rates? This will cause people to have to request food. So the real two clickers/ inactives won't be getting tax breaks.
Won't we be running out of money fast or people will not be getting enough food? Yes if a lot of people request food, but isn't that what you want? More people fighting. Key word more. 1 person can get 2000 wellness a day or 4 people getting 500. I would pick 4 people ranking up faster, not just one.
What will happen to military units? Nothing. They will still compete, and put their own req if they want.
What will happen to communes?The owners will have to take responsibility. They can pay them whats fair in money or goods..
Wont people abuse this?(By fighting wherever stocking food etc)Sure people can abuse this, but you should be free to fight wherever you want to. Obviously the people who care about this country will be fighting for it. The food hoarders. What are they going to do? sell it? so what. Whats the money going into, maybe tanks! or companies! and what will that do? Oh I don't know maybe more food and tanks or maybe even str!
Isn't this a giant merge? You can call it what you want, but what this is, is giving everyone an equal oppurtunity . Old players will be rewarded for their loyalty, by simply getting more food. New players will be getting a chance to rank up and level by getting food as well. It will also give incentives to fight more to get more food in the future. Should not spoil new players plus the fact you can't trust that they wont quit.

Aren't you in USAF you hypocrite?Yes and I'm going to leave it if this plan goes through. I joined usaf, because I realized I could not fight enough without having government food. With this plan everyone would get food if they want it.

Highly disagree with this plan. You will basically kill off a lot of damage. Plus the logistics of this will be a nightmare, you don't know how hard it is for QMs to dish out stuff to their soldiers, now to do this for the entire country, no way. Also, to track if people are actually using their supplies effectively is also a nightmare.
There is no reason to merge groups or people together at all.
not merging anyone, actually making everyone independent. Not tracking damage either. Hire more qms and compensate them for their work.
Making everyone independent is basically a giant merge, everyone feeds at one giant water pond. If we don't track damage, then you can't tell if the money is used efficiently. Hiring QMs will cost more money and you will need to somehow track how they supply, if they are pocketing cash or tanks/food, especially if you hire random John Doe to do the job.
There's a site erep.maxihellas which tracks damage, even though there would be no point in it. And the people who want to fight will the people who don't why would they bother with requesting. and we already have existing qms and forms which track who requested and if they got their food.

It seems like it would be too much on the people to take these requests and respond to them in a timely manner.

Addressing the how this would problem. It would be no different than the current system except probably there would be hundreds more requests.(I don't see why hundreds of more requests will kill damage).
I'm pretty sure the current system is someone requests, it goes to a spreadsheet, the worker sends food and marks down they got food. 20 workers would be enough and they should get fair pay.
The other problem concerning everyone wants to be special and have a banner on their avatar. Why don't you get over yourselves your no better than anyone else on the game and if you want you can keep it if it makes you feel better. Im not trying to abolish the actual mus, you can pretend to be seals or sf or whatever and have 4000 q5 hit I don't care! All I care is everybody gets the food they deserve(as long as they want it)

I think bewbs4newbs should be changed, i mean why make them post a picture, just simply give them the food if they ask for it. But I'm not so sure if i agree with everything you said here.

While it may be a good idea in theory, how would you find workers for your companies? Pay them full market wage? If you're not paying them market wage, then why would they want to work there?
You greatly under estimate how much it costs to run a commune.
What incentive do I have, as a private citizen, to work in a commune? I can request all the food I want from this program, without working for it.
Costs would be through the roof.
Taxes would pay for the workers Israel, the same taxes going to fund the military right now, and running Food comps and frm comps are a lot cheaper then weps. And the Taxes would support the whole of the country instead of just a few. As for who they would fight for, you already have ppl supporting the eUSA and her Allies that receive no funding. So I seriously doubt that would change.
Tough thing to say to a lot of people...takes some balls to know you are going to be shunned for speaking your mind. I'm still new, and I've seen how some things work, but I think if there is so much fighting right now, why not try a change. I'm with you.

They are capped at 100k for those who don't know. Game mechanics.
Taxes would have to go through the roof. Meaning that anyone self funding their fights (such as myself) would pay a ton in taxes, and get nothing out of it. You would have droves of people finding jobs out of country. I work for a Greek company, and have for weeks. There's no reason in particular for that, just happened to be where I was when I needed a job.
However, if you encourage people to find lower taxed jobs in other countries, they will.
Great concept, but power hungry political caste wont make this happens ever ! Why ? Simply because THEY are BOSSES. They do not care about TAX payers. They simply wanna taxes and doing what they want with it.

Just to be clear, mus and whatever military group your in. I don't want to destroy that if its working and what not keep it and if it isn't whatever. I'm just telling you if you fill out this form your getting food. You won't be receiving what you used to though.

Second taxes. Stevens your complaining about Americas tax rate and well thats a different subject. You can make a deal with employer or something and he pays you in tanks instead. The incentive to work in a commune or a salary job is to get stuff/money from your employer, as I said the owners take responsibility.

What is unfair would be weakening our country by giving supplies to everyone, letting them fight wherever they want. More active players who follow orders should get more supplies. This isn't v1, where you can only do a certain amount of damage in one day. No in v3412412, the core of the damage is the strong soldiers. You cut the legs off of our military branch, US will become extremely weak, thus weakning our allies as well.

To help coordinate damage. We fight in the various prioritized battles our POTUS tells us to. We also fight in coordination with our allies. There is always a big picture, sometimes one that doesn't make sense in the short run, but the POTUS is always coordinating with other countries.

I don't see why giving out food to everyone will weaken us. Letting them fight anywhere would only make them stronger and also pretty sure 90% of military will be requesting food one way or another. and what is the point of dod orders if you think no one listens to them
GAC: I understand where you are coming from but right now, I don't see the old military group as a leg. You guys are more like a good friend that we are having a bad argument with, which could result in us no longer being friends if we don't find a way to reconcile.
The reason why I attribute our military groups as a leg is because since we are funded, we do have to listen to the POTUS when he sets the different battle priorities. You guys do have the freedom to fight as you wish. So we are connected directly to the government and the POTUS.
Actually, looking over the numbers, I wouldn't consider them a leg either.
I disagree poor idea. We are the USA I say we focus on military and finance and get our country to the top of the world.
This plan doesn't work.
you know what does work? the USAF. there are no requirements to join, you get food and all you have to do is fight were told. It is a pretty sweet and simple set up.
