I plan to be doing articles twice a week, as explained in my second campaign article. First week, that has been achieved. Granted, I'm technically cheating. Congress article usually comes out with the PAC. But hey, take points where you can take them, amirite?

Brick by Brick

This first week has been...difficult, even more so than I expected it to be. Training and finding the Cabinet has proven to be much more cumbersome than originally thought. That's natural, of course. Many new people have taken up new roles. This Cabinet is revolutionary.

(Need to get my commie reference in there somewhere.)

In hindsight, the pain of these first few days has always been my goal. My mandate as PP this month is to leave the party with a strong, energetic Leadership team. To leave you with 3, possible PP ready people. To leave you with a future.

Yes, training new people for completely new positions is painful and time consuming. It does not do well for my media flare, personal charm or ratings. But, that's what I was elected to do. That's what will ensure that the infrastructure required to keep us in our spot stays around past this term. Past next term, and everafter.

I've a few issues to address. First, the Cabinet List alongside a brief idea of the training. Second, Congress primaries. And finally; I'm throwing down the gauntlet.

...Sorta.

Cabinet List
Without further ado, this month’s WTP Cabinet list is….

Party President~ Hale26

Vice Party President~ Valiant Thor
V has always been an excellent giver of activity and life to whatever term he’s been part of. Having him on is a most enjoyable necessity.

Chief of Staff~ Disco Musolini
Disco has been CoS for the last term and he did quite well at it. He’ll whip, he’ll swear, he’ll cuss...etc. All the things I know and expect from CoSing.

Census Department Director~ Zetyro
Zetyro is a rather new player to WTP. He’s always been very active in the party IRC, even before he immigrated to eUSA from Brazil. But in terms of party work? None so far.

Census requires the activity and persistence of a stallion, at times. With Zetyros activity and skill, I’d say we’re in able hands.
(Also, he is now know as “Foxy”)

Census Department Worker(s)~Zxdek
Zxdek is a long time Census worker. He’s busy irl at the moment, but still wonderful and able to help out.

Communications Director~ Triwolf
Triwolf is back! WTP’s newb-of-the-month is finally being put into the Cabinet. Tri is skilled, active and a extremely positive. While now he is older, he still has the perfect newb charm that I always loved and adored.

Tri has done well in his position so far, even though training isn’t over. Once it is, you can expect to be seeing some MMs from him soon.

PAC Director~ Ldwamego
Lookie here, yet another of WTP’s rising talents. Ldwamego is a long time WTPer who has always been interested in helping out. I’ve decided to give him that opportunity, under the politiky planning wing of the party. He’s smart, well writ and active. All the things we need from the tasking job that is PAC.

PAC Deputy~ Raise Hell
Helping him out will be a rather new WTP prospect, RaiseHell. RaiseHell has been with us since he joined UM, but I was never really aware of his wanting to help out till I did my PP run. I expect great things from this man. He will not disappoint.

Recruitment Director~ Dmjohnston
DMJ has been a former WTP hopeful, upper leadership member and temp recruitment director under various admins. About time he gets his own title. DMJ is very good with technology and is a bastion of activity, even with a baby in hand! Recruitment will be doing most excellent this month.

Staffer~ n0s3
My n0s3. n0s3 is a long-time WTPer, both at home and abroad. He’s a proud part of our “foreign WTP” member base. After some careful love poking, he’s agreed to take on a staffing role for recruitment.

Outreach Staffer~ Pompous
Seems we’ve been trying to give Pompous a job forever. This witty, well writ man has always had interest in helping the party grow. And as chief Staffer of the Outreach program, he’ll have the opportunity to do so.

Retention Director~ Geronimo100
Retention has often been a thankless job in WTP. Geronimo100 has forever been messaging our newbs, deads and others of all sorts and sizes. He is the most skilled and able for the task at hand. Not to mention, what am I without my (fellow) Communist sympathiser ?

MR Old Messenger~ iDarius
Our favorite, former business mogul Romanian. I’ve seen promise in him since his “tears” convo with Pfeiffer on the first day he posted on our forums. Being rather charismatic, he will do great in this position.

Writers Association~ Tanishq
Tanishq is a former SoE, multiple times, gov cab worker and WTP Census Director. She has all the right creativity and props to lead WTPWA back into relevance.

WIN Organizer~ George Griffin
GG is back and more alive than ever. WIN Being a new department, it will take consistent activity to get this floating. Something that Mr.Griffin can provide.
WIN Assistant~Raise Hell
Aiding in this quest will be RaiseHell, again. PAC is rather off and on, so I’m sure he can handle this.
Pony Whalers~ All of the above

Mentoring Director~ The Mike
The Mike is our long time friendly, active Mentoring Director. He’s done this forever now. I’m sure he’ll be able to handle whatever we throw at him.
Mentoring Messenger 1~ Subash Cholan
Cholan is another of WTP’s highly publicized newbs. He’s a good writer, can do tech design and is very friendly. About time we get this man into the Cabinet.

Security Director~ Concept
Concept has always worked close with Mike Ontry on tech, gdocs...etc. Being a former Census worker and knower of most things tech, he has always performed well in the Securities Department.

Feed The World~ Mazzy Cat and Pompous
Mazzy is wonderful and deserves pettings. Pompous too is wonderful. Their wonderfulness will keep your food coming.

Department of Awesome (Technology)~ Mike Ontry
What is there to say? Without Mike and his department, WTP probably wouldn’t be here right now. His support is most valuable.

Official Day Rater~ Talostastic
I feel like Talos will be enjoying this position. I look forward to seeing him in action with it.

This months team is the best and brightest WTP has ever seen in its over 1-year long history. We have an excellent mixture of new blood manning the depts like Census, Comms and PAC, while we retain our older blood in other depts like Mentoring, Securities. This Cabinet is a living, breathing machine. It will serve us well into the future.

Training so far has been rather slow for everyone. Even the older depts have to get used to the new style of running things. Everyone has been progressing and is still bright and vibrant about their jobs. I’d expect everything to be settled in the next 4ish days, roughly.

Congress Primaries
Here in WTP, we believe in popular consensus on the issues at hand. One of these issues is, who do you want to represent /you/ in Congress? Owing true to the way we’ve done this since near forever, WTP is currently in the final stages of its Congress Primary. This is where you should be if you want to vote or learn a bit more about the candidates. If you cannot vote please let me know.

We have an excellent bunch this month. Something I’ve made a point of with this current set of hopefuls in WTP’s belief in active media. Our hopefuls must publish at least 1 Campaign article if they intend on winning to keep their 5 gold. Or not having me B**ch them out for the remainder of their term.

WTP is a big player in interparty relations. We’re currently the #2 party in the nation for Congress organization, if not #1. We have deep ties with some (AMP), growing ties with others (LAP) and rather neutral to conflicting ties with another (USWP). There is one party that I have always, as WTP has, had issue with. This rivalry with them has often morphed from competition, to downright and hate and so forth. They’ve been our biggest opponents on the Congress scale. They were the biggest opponents during my first Term as PP, back when I was still getting used to this all.

I’ve had just about enough of the s*** we’ve went through with this sorry bunch of bygone, puppy-stealing WTP-opposing rascals. I’m going to settle the score, once and for all.

Let me give some background before I get back into my rant. I’ve always been a big fan of the program, eNASA. It was wildly successful under Civil Anarchy. It used eAmerica’s clique competition to get newbs into the country, using voting sites. I’m happy that it’s been restarted but...in present, I can’t give this program a very long life. It simply is not what it was under Civil.

So, I set out to find the Federalist Party President. After some heavy cussing, veiled threats and a little panty twisting, we know what we’re going to do. eNASA has always survived off of clique competition, hasn’t it? Well, we’re going to give them clique competition.

I’ve challenged the Federalist party to out vote us on eNASA.

The competition starts Sunday and, realistically, never ends. Ever week a winner will be declared.

The Fed-WTP wars have been defining of all my terms. We’ve fought and beat them in Congress, media and IRC activity. And in fairness, they've beat us in Organization, elections, national work and Forums. I see no reason why we can’t use our rivalry for the betterment of the Nation, yet again.

Federalists, prepare to be crushed.

In just a week our accomplishments have been numerous. We've created the best cabinet in WTP's History. I've become the most media active PP in the nation. We've brought back the article mandate to our hopefuls and thrown the gauntlet at our rival party. Not to mention, our staff so far as been excellent, to say the least. All that, without full energy being put forward.

To believe, some thought we were too washed up for a fourth stint, eh?
