A Term in Review

As the month comes to the end in comes down to the WHPR to review the administration's accomplishments over the term.


Today we review: Stormin being CP. Next we review: being punched in the face by everyone who doesn't like the WHPRs

At home:

President Stormin was elected on a platform promising to reenergize the country. To this end, the administration has taken a direct role in formalizing ABS reform and being involved in the legislative process. The administration is proud to have seen a huge spike in activity in discussions and debate in Congress, and institution that sometimes goes months without doing anything beyond electing speakers.

Additionally, The Whitehouse Food Program has been a success as Secretary of Interior Leroy Combs has successfully continued the provision of 1,000 Q7 food each week. By reaching out to party presidents, this has succeeded in reaching members who may have missed it on the national feed.

Abroad

America continues to America. Throughout the term, The United States and her Asterian allies have continued to find success abroad, beating back CODE and ensuring that the US and our allies are able to maintain consistent and beneficial training wars.

In addition, President Stormin has followed up on his campaign promises by providing EPICs and leading from the front.

Media

The term started strong with a series of WHPRs. As the term has continued the pace has slowed, but this has still be a banner month for government media, far exceeding the average month. President Stormin has also published his unvarnished takes in his own paper. Whether or not this team is still here next month, we at the WHPR hope that government media will continue or even improve.




Political Update

Since the last WHPR, much has happened in the political realm. First:

Congress Elections

On the 25th, Americans went to vote, but parliamentary style, because Plato hates Freedom (TM). In any case, Americans voted.



Continuing trends, the Rough Rider party formed the largest coalition, while the Federalists, WTP, BSP, and SFP all had strong results. The 272 votes marked a notable increase from 255 in February. We at the WHPR can only hope this trend increases.

The Presidential Election

Over the past week, political parties across the country have been hosting primaries to determine who they will support for President on the 5th. Two candidates have stood out with the most endorsements.

Stormin EwokJedi, the current President, is running again with support from the Rough Riders and the Socialist Freedom Party.

This promises to be a close election, and is an indication of involvement by the American people in the political process.

War Report

At time of publishing there is a REAL WAR going on in Croatia. This is part of an ongoing offensive where Asteria and the eUS has successfully removed Croatia from the map as CODE remains on the retreat.

Right now the battle is occurring here as the United States battles North Korea in South Dalmatia.

As time continues check the national feed for shouts from Herr Vootsman and Shefutzu, as they direct damage.
