Stan is addicted to the new Terrance and Philip mobile game…
Before we start, We'd like to thank and commend our predecessors, ErrOrka, Dave Gulya and their Media Teams, for a job well done. Stepping back into a familiar job and finding everything in good order makes the transition easy, and we're confident we'll have things rolling smoothly from the git-start.
7-Timer Oblige Outlines his Plans
CoSecMed Melissa Rose
As expected, Oblige rode the big wave right into the White House, garnering over 45% of the total vote with Dave Gulya pulling a respectable 35%. Oblige swims into his unprecedented 7th non-consecutive term with America on a steady but unremarkable course.
We're in a great alliance, Pacifica, with Russia, Latvia and new member Taiwan ROC. Oblige explains, "Pacifica is absolutely the best alliance for us because of its size. It's small and nimble so we can help our friends and allies without being tied down with the bullsh-t and drama of a larger organization." Oblige hints that Finland may be joining Pacifia soon, but at this point this is just speculation.
Asked about the Reserves and the recently raised Work Tax, Oblige remarks, "The Reserve is borked right now, but I may be able to go to Congress and ask for a tax cut by the end of my second term."
In his final campaign article, "The Grand Plan," Oblige outlines his plans for the Departments of State, Defense, Interior and Education, and the National Security Council. If you have not read that yet, now would be a good time.
President Oblige will be Guest of Honor at several celebrations over the next week, and is expected to show Deputy First Lady Chubzilla selfies of his Inaugural Balls.
Presidential Daily Briefing
CoSecMed "Old Man" Custer
Continuing with the established policy of Executive transparency, Americans will be presented with information and communications taken directly from the President's Daily Briefing (PDB). In past months this has been hosted in the eUS Forums. It is hoped that this de-classified material will have higher visibility here, in the WHPR, in every regular edition.
We'll kick this off in the regular Friday edition, with an insight to President Tyler Bubblar's last couple days in office, the various Department heads winding down operations and preparing to hand off to their successors. We'll also cover the Oblige Cabinet's first day on the job, which is always interesting.
What to Expect from this Media Team
:: The White House Press Report will be published M-W-F, in a more lean and mean format. Each edition will contain one Top Story, the PDB, and A^A's extraordinary War Maps & Analysis. We'll be publishing in the Social category, and will undergo some cosmetic changes as well.
:: The Pony Express will return as a once-weekly publication. In addition to listing all newspaper articles from your Cabinet Departments, we hope to also include links to the latest news from Parties and MUs.
:: We're very excited to announce the return of regular weekly editions of eNPR, with Cerb hosting.
Your White House Media Team:
George Armstrong Custer & Melissa Rose, Co-Secretaries of Media
Alexander_Auctorias, War Maps & Analysis
Azazel Romanov, Senior White House Correspondent
Scott Coyle Jr, Graphics Artist
Cerb, eNPR Director & Host

AA, keep shaking that ass.
lol in USA all day articles about politics....
voted, good move to put the PDB in the WHPR
it's a gamble, but I like the odds.
Finally; A break from Tom Hanks.
Hey, he's a lot of animals, and he's done great things for our country.
WILSON
I can't wait for articles with zero substance to get 200 bought votes and make our already sucky media more suck.
part of why we're going "lean and mean," Pfeiffer. One Top Story should force substantiveness.
\o/ I'm free!! lol. Good work people, and good luck in this term!
Where's the war map/analysis?
regular editions, M-W-F, Wild Owl. this was purposely a "New POTUS fluff edition" to make announcements only.

Are we traveling back in time or did Oblige mean 8th term? I read this as his intent to run again next month. Correct me if I'm wrong.
8th would would be correct. 2nd consecutive.

"As expected, Oblige rode the big wave right into the White House, garnering over 45% of the total vote with Dave Gulya pulling a respectable 35%"
Without any offense to anyone, getting 45% against a non-candidate, isn't riding the big wave - especially when the difference is less than 100 votes alone.
this is Journalism. Journalists write like that.
this is the official White House paper, not a personal rag.
and... Dave Gulya, a non-candidate? we've elected Presidents on 35% plenty of times. and Dave woulda rocked the job if he'd gotten it-- we haven't seen the last of him.
Journalism can't be critisized just because they're official now? And saying that Dave Gulya is a non-candidate doesn't mean he'll be bad. The fact we've elected presidents on 35% is irrelevent, pulling less than 50% in this election means that he's not riding any wave, Oblige was really unpopular in comparison to expectations, especially when the vote count was extremely low.
Look at the administration; New Citizen Message which currently has 20 votes towards No while 17 towards Yes , people are trolling him because he's so unpopular right now.
The wall was basically spammed by people with "Anyone but Oblige".
INSURGIO~
