Defense
This week has been somewhat quieter. No resistance wars and so. But again, we made progress internally. Phyrax will soon publish more about it in the KCT newspaper. DanielB1989 is again joining the Defence team. He will restore the Flying Dutchmen to their former glory. We'll have more about it later.

The government put some emphasis on the "war events". The ministry will start work to craft a structured plan and will inform the authorities about it. We wanted to use the wargames for the war events, but - since the new wargames are not yet launched, and the old ones continue but irregularly - we can't commit yet to a firm planning for the war event.

Finances
The Ministry of Finance has published its weekly financial report as usual.

I highlighted there, that it was a quiet week for Ministry of Finances, and we had a positive balance of around 7,500 NLG (120 G) last week. On the downside, we're having some troubles keeping the monetary market stable, due to the very small amount of GOLD on offer, but we are working on it. For all details, see the report.

Foreign Affairs
This week Foreign Affairs has been busy.We have an new Secretary, Trinc and a new Chief Ambassador, Garmr.
Both are working hard to stay close to our friends and even closer to our enemies. It's always good to learn, even from our enemy.

R&C is still working on tutorials, FAQ and information about the history of our union (eBelgium & the eNetherlands joining, RW Flanders & Brussels) which are needed for a forum topic for new citizens to help them find useful information.

The ministry is still looking for a new Head of Coaching.

State Companies & Gold Market
Stable Monetary Market
This week the NLG stayed at 0.016 gold again but Gold has risen from 66.64 to 70 NLG. We were unable to stabilize the market at the set rate of 1 G = 66.5 NLG. Although the foreign investors are almost sold out, there still is much NLG for sale and not as much Gold as we would like to see. A bit more Gold on the market would be useful. The government will keep trying to get back to the rates as agreed and received some help in reaching that goal from several individuals and organizations who have sold Gold on the money market. You can help: put your Gold on the monetary market, our economics will improve and the monetary market will become healthier. The NLG you'll get by selling gold can be used to buy weapons to train better and rank faster so our army will become stronger too.

New Managers
We can use more managers for the State Companies. Write an application to the director-general Mitch Rapp or to Cocoamok.

Employees needed?
Whenever you search for employees, contact OE_Volksgezondheid. We have very healthy and skilled employees available. These will be fired when there are jobs in the private companies. Employees low on wellness are helped to achieve a good wellness.

Belgian Affairs
Information of the government is published in English, French and Dutch to reach as many citizens as possible. New citizens in the occupied regions receive help and information from coaches. And every citizen of our union is asked to move to Wallonia.

Media & Health
Lamoraal van Egmont is appointed Secretary of State of Media & Health. He has translated a lot of articles for M&H and has now agreed to take on even more responsibilities. Thanks to him and the other official UNL translators kravenn, LeValeureuxLiegeois and Jofroi, government publications are available in French, Dutch and English.
