Following something along the line of essentially seven months of campaigning, I have finally won the party presidential elections. I can now say that the countless defeats, far from breaking my resolve, have made me a better person altogether. From my audacious stab at the title back in November, to me 1 vote loss in March this year, it has been an entertaining experience. With these losses too, has come an increasing share of my part in party politics, and thus experience. Far from hurling myself into a position I know very little about, this elections has been a little step up to a position in which I am strangely familiar with.

Truly, with 44 votes and no other candidates, this is a victory not for me, but for us all.

Now, it is time to look to the future, a future, thanks to the work of not just UKRPers, but the whole eUK, that is ever increasingly bright. I have already set about opening contacts with other parties- initiating both the super WRP-UKRP power couple and talks with ESO. Apples has also kindly renewed the PP cabal, which I am sure will be, as ever, not only useful for upholding and updating the current legislation we have- keeping the country stable and progressive, but getting to know other parties and our place within the politics of the eUK.

The super mega cool UKRP PM and cabinet PMs have also been opened, and we are currently discussing ye olde danke memes.

I hope to start the Total War tournament soon, and I can assure you that an evening reading of Lionbeard's witty comments may be added to le schedule.
