Join the new world

Yes, it's that time of the month where I candidate myself for UKRP PP, and write a manifesto out of blind and senseless necessity. I was hoping to publish this some time later, however, with the possibility of a primary vote knocking at the door, I think now would be a sensible time to do so. As such, I'll be setting out some of the plans I have for next month, I hope you'll find them rather kewl.
Remember that this manifesto is completely flexible- if you don't agree with some of my plans, just inform me, and if more people say so then I may pull it off.

Policies Towards the Other Top 5 Parties

TUP
We'll be very unlikely to make any steps to improving relations with TUP at this time. Although TUP has some great people in it, it is my belief that we will need to invest our time and membership in slightly more fruitful causes. 😛

UKPP
I will be hoping to bring our communities slightly closer, improving our relations. However, I wholly understand that forcing our communities together will not always produce good relations, and with this in mind, I will make sure baby steps are taken at first. I will start up the month by PMing the UKPP PP, following that I'll make sure to set up a PM including both the party cabinets. In the future I would also like to formulate a scheme to get our communities working and talking together more, although the plausibility of this will materialise as the month moves on.

WRP
Whoever wins the WRP elections, I will be looking to bring our communities closer together. In contrast to the UKPP, I believe that our two communitites can be quickly, and ardently, brought together. I will be looking to run things like WRP-UKRP competitions, a joint party PM (obviously wouldn't include the entirety of the two parties), and party ambassadorial schemes. Having now bandied these ideas about, it could be considered your turn to pick these apart.

USP
I believe that, although a keen eye should be kept on them, the USP should be given a fighting chance with our party. Perhaps also, to those who would protest against even the mentioning of USP, the best way to keep them out of trouble is to keep them in contact. Perhaps too, a party shared PP or party cabinet PM could serve to not only keep them out of trouble, but give the USP a less distorted and better view of the political world of the eUK. To ignore USP is to further disenfranchise them, we should work with them, but always with the betterment of the enation in mind.


Other Parties

PCP
Our communist cousins are actually rather nice. As such, I'll be looking to communicate more with PCP, and perhaps give them one or two Congress seats.

ESO
Again, as with PCP, I may be willing to give ESO one or two seats.

Party Communication
I will be renewing the UKRP PM, the same one in which the saving of New Era was thought up. I will also make a UKRP party cabinet PM in order to discuss more crucial memes party matters. We will use both these PMs to continue drawing up the usual recruitment strategies, and Total war tournaments.

Fun and Games
Whilst the super MoEnt power couple will be keeping you happy this month, I recognise that I must also take steps to make sure that the UKRP community, as well as the eUK community as a whole, is kept entertained. With this is mind, I hope to start up, and keep running, a UKRP Total War tournament. This will hopeful be a more successful, and entertaining, successor to its ill fated forefather, the eUK TW tournament.

Junior Mongs
I hope to create a new, meta-game 😛, political post, namely- junior mongs. A while back, I was thinking about how hard it is for a new player to get into politics, unless they are thrown blindly into Congress without any prior training. Junior Mongs is an attempt to bridge this gap, making it easier for both new players to understand epolitics, and for our Congressmen to keep up with the PMs and their workload. Junior Mongs (or Jmongs) are to be, with the approval of the CP, Dictator, and ultimately a Congress vote, included in Congress PMs, but will not have a vote. There will only be one or two Jmongs at the most, and each will be assigned to a UKRP Congressman. It will be the duty of a Jmong to summarise recent Congress PMs (if their respective Congressman wishes them to do so), and to produce Congress reports for that Congressman (again, if the Congressman wishes so). I may be writing an actual bit of legislation (ahh!!!) for this if it proves somewhat popular. It will hopefully go some way to bridge the political gap for new players.

Congress

Under me, I will make sure that our Congress will be a tour de force of political genius. Whilst I will leave one or two seats open to for ESO/PCP or a younger player, I will encourage people who are, in my opinion, some of the best epoliticians I know, to run, and will fill the list with them. I will aldo put a stress on media campaigning for the Congress elections, as I believe we can match, or even beat, the brilliant show we had this term.

It is my strong belief that failure not only breaks men, but makes them. As someone who has tried, and failed, to be the UKRP PP four times, despite odds that were often greatly in my favour, I can confirm that it has made me. I first went for PP in November 2014, a time when I took this game way too seriously, and ultimately failure has taught me some of the greatest lessons- to have fun, this is a game, and that losing means dusting yourself off and having another go at it, from a different angle. Thanks to everyone who's voted for me in the past, I will still fulfil those same expectations for which you have voted for me and will vote for me again.
