[UKRP] A Choice of Two

Day 1,151, 11:36 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by UKRP HQ

I’m writing this article today as the last announcement I’ll make as the Party President of the United Kingdom Reform Party. These last two months we’ve gone from lows to highs and highs to lows but the members I’ve worked with this term have never stopped working to help the party no matter the situation. If I had to pick one success from my two month leadership as Party President it wouldn’t be the election results, our increase in members or the increased activity on the forum, but the fact the party pulled together after a terrible month in October and I can only thank everyone that did something in helping get this party back on its feet as it’s you who saved the party.

Now you may know or have noticed I’m not running for a third month but instead we’ve got two fantastic candidates, Sir Humphrey Appleby and Michael Crookes. Sir Humphrey Appleby is a former Party President of UK Reform as well as being our candidate for the most recent Country Presidential elections and put out an incredible election campaign. Michael Crookes on the other hand is the rising star in the party and country who has great enthusiasm and potential in the coming months. There’s no denying that this is going to be a very close and exciting election, one which we haven’t seen as a party for some time. Whoever wins and takes the Party Presidency though will surely do a fantastic job and take this party to the next level.

The election is on the 15th January so remember to vote for who you think is the best candidate to lead the party next month. If there’s no vote button, go to the party page and you’ll be able to cast your vote there. Good luck to both Appleby and Michael, but for now it’s a goodbye from me and a good luck to whoever wins the election.

Check out the manifesto's of Appleby and Michael!

Thanks,
Daniel Thorrold
