THE NEWS
There has been an important development today in our foreign affairs and military outlook: Canada have started a vote to make us their Natural Enemy (NE). Currently the vote is passing as follows:
This has implications for us, especially since we have an open war with Ireland. We'll be fighting on two fronts, with Canada hoping to come to the aid of their Irish allies. To combat this threat, we have counter-NE'd Canada and again that vote is passing:
We'll soon be embroiled in this conflict too so it's important that we lay the damage down in the right places- please consult the MoD paper and the forums for battle orders, check on IRC if you can as to where and when it will be best to fight- every little helps.

The eUK Government would like to show its respect on this, the anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks- both for the victims of those attacks and for those who have died since in the war on terror.

THE CP's UPDATE:
Today we've seen a few very important battles that have been the focus of most of ONE/TEDEN. To put it simply Macedonia got utterly destroyed on the battlefield with it having to defend on three fronts (Greece, China and RWs). Our orders had changed multiple times but in the end Macedonia not only lost the RW on their capital but also the battles with Greece and China. Right now Macedonia has had it's capital assigned back to where it would normally be and they have lost their good economic bonus. Macedonia understand that we gave it our all to help them out with people such as Thatcher, Iain and Emergy tanking quite a bit but we lost and that is that. ONE did however managed to take two Croatian regions today, if Hungary can take one more region the NE on them will be closed and hopefully their damage can be coordinated more efficiently.
We haven't had much luck with our battles either. Shannon was successfully RW'd after a bunch of Greeks decided to spend the whole day tanking for Ireland. They have since buggered off as far as I can tell though now and we have managed to win a few battles in Dublin and the latest RW that has shown up. I'm hoping that once we hit prime time we can take Dublin and then continue on wiping Ireland but I have no idea on if people will continue to tank for them. I personally think that the losses we've seen in the past few days can be partially blamed on the cheap energy bars. I'm hoping that once the offer is off the amount of tanking in a battle will reduce a fair bit.
It wouldn't be an interesting term without a Canada battle. Thankfully Canada has gone ahead and decided to NE stating that they want to free Ireland (or use that excuse to get fruits from them). Currently the actual amount of effort TEDEN will put in is unknown but I'm hoping that with the current severity of the balkans wars that it will be a low priority battle for them. It's also a possibility that we could get an 80% bonus for a while so watch out for that if we ever get to Prince Edward Island.
Thats all from me for now, I'm going to go rage some more at how the cheap tanking is really annoying.
