Health is a vital part of surviving in eRepublik. You must consume food every day to maintain your health and prevent yourself from dying. Houses can also help improve health. You lose health every day, and by completing certain tasks. This article talks about the dos and don’ts of health, and how you can achieve 100 health every day. For a tutorial of health with step by step screenshots, click here.

The Basics

Generic health image.

At daychange, you lose some health, depending on how much health you had the previous day. For example, if you had 100 health, you will lose 4 health and have 96 at daychange. If you had 50 health, you will lose 2 health. You also lose health every time you work and train. You lose one health when training, and lose x amount of health depending on the quality of the product you make at work (Q1 = lose one health, Q5 = lose five health). You also lose 10 health per fight in a battle. You can use a hospital to heal, but there is almost always never a hospital to use. Another thing that affects health is when you move to different regions or countries. Depending on the quality of the moving ticket you have, you could either lose or gain health. We will go over how you can gain health using food and houses in the next section.

Food/Houses

Mmm…processed Q3 food.

Food is the most commonly used way of gaining health. You can consume 300 health worth of food each day. To consume food, just click the “Eat Food” icon on the left, and the first food in your inventory will be consumed. There are 5 different qualities of food you can purchase, with each quality increase giving you an increase of two health (Q1 = 2 health, Q5 = 10 health). At times, food can be expensive, so the trick is to find the food that is the best value. To figure this out, just look at the prices of each quality. For example, if the cost of Q1 food is 1.00, that equals 0.50 per one health. If a Q2 food is 1.80, which is 0.45 per health. So, you would want the Q2 food (assuming you need to regain 4 health), as it is of better value.

A Q3 house.

Houses are a way of regaining health, although it is generally more expensive. Houses consist of two parts: roofs and walls. Roofs provide health and walls provide the amount of days the house is available. Since houses can only be used for a limited time, don’t think of it as buying a house, but rather renting it. The amount of health received depends on how much health it provides and the health you currently have. To figure out how much health you receive, the equation is: Health provided by house – (1, 2, 3 or 4), where 1 is if you have less than 10 wellness, 2 is if you have less than 50, 3 if you have less that 80, and 4 if you have more than 80. For example, if your house give you 10 health and you have 85 health, you will end up getting 6 health for a total of 91. If you have 40 health, you will gain 8 health for a total of 48. On a personal level, I would recommend sticking to food as your source of health, as houses are too expensive.
