Training Ground Loans - Promotion Period Finished

The promotion period was limited to 48hrs, so the Ministry of Finance were only able to offer Citizens up to 20g to those who applied before Day 2,403 and up to 10g to those who applied on Day 2,403.

A total of 171.5 Gold was loaned to citizens all with the same terms of repayment which was set at 2 months from Day 2,405.

Emergy Fund

Congress, the CP and his cabinet has agreed to the principles outline in this proposal regarding the Emergy Fund. The MoF has had sixty nine applicants for grants so far.

In summary this means 2000cc (or 10 Gold) Grants will be given out starting this weekend to those citizens who active (6 days a week checked over a month period) and more than three months old. These grants are likely to continue through-out the rest of this MoF's term or until demand runs out.

The Grants are unfortunately too late for Training Ground upgrades during a promotion period however can be saved for this purpose. They can also be used to purchase Raw Material factories. Although of-course once the Grant is given the citizen can spend it as they wish however the MoF would strongly advise one of the above options.

It is currently only anticipated that between 120,000cc and 200,000cc of the Emergy fund will be spent initially so do not worry if you don't meet the criteria straight away, you will have further chances to receive a grant. The MoF do anticipate demand will escalate though as grants begin to be given out and are prepared to review and assess this demand.

I'd also ask citizens to be patient and respectful, it's a large task and you all agree that we must make sure in the MoF that these grants go to UK citizens which will use them most effectively so the UK benefits in the long term.

Once 400,000cc is spent Congress, the CP and his cabinet will be briefed on the progress and success of the Emergy Fund spend. Further donations to the Bank of England will then be seeked by the MoF from Congress.
