[UK MoFA] News from Belgium

Today, we decided to write an article about one of our neighbors : Belgium. Since around 2 months, they are out of the map following their request to be wiped by Poland. Mainly because it is one of UK neighbors, we found interesting to write an article about their situation.

What happened ?

Like we said, eBelgium isn’t currently on the map (wiped by Poland) but unlike lot of people can think : It isn’t an hostile occupation. A former Belgian CP asked to Poland to be wiped. Mainly because they are under a PTO risk and PTOters can be able to take power (especially since they were able to have around 33% of their congress).

Why Belgium ?

PTO a small country is easier than PTO a big one. So, try to PTO a country like Serbia or Chile is almost impossible. Even if congress members have more citizenship passes than in a small country (Congress members from a large country receive more than 10 monthly pass and in smaller countries : it is 1 or 2).
Like we say : easier to infiltrate the country, and need less people to achieve the ending goal. Ending goal = have congress, CP spot, and Org access (like Belgian National Bank).
Belgium as small country is also well located. Just between UK, France, Netherlands, Germany (and often Poland). Their situation are a “good” base for potential PTOters.

Why current wipe ?

PTOters are almost sure to win congress elections. If they are able to have more than 50%. It means they will be able to do like they want there. Like propose donations to their orgs, reject MPP proposals, … They could also block Natural enemy laws (once they have more than 33😵 and Donations (propose a law to one of their org even if they know that it will be reject to delay a MoF one).

How long ?

No idea, one thing was clear : it wasn’t for 10 days. They will probably plan to be back on the map once they are sure that Pto gang is reduced. It can take 2 months or maybe more. Only Belgian government will decide when Pto risk will be largely reduced. Clearly, as long as Belgian official orders are to fight for Poland on their RW. Try to not sponsor RW (except if you want to lose 1000cc), and not fight there for Freedom Fighter medal.

Why by Poland ?

Belgium had several options about the country who could wipe them. At that time : it was mainly Poland or UK (NL and France were wiped and no borders with Germany).
It isn’t a secret to say that UK is weaker than Poland. Since admins added determination : it should be hard for UK to keep Belgian regions. Poland is stronger : it was the easier choice

From where come PTOters ?

Mainly from Croatia. But these guys have no link with Croatian government. Also several Belgians are friend with these guys.

Where are they located ? (mainly)

They are mainly in 2 parties : Liberation front and PANDA Party but it doesn’t mean that everybody on these parties are “evil”. Several old belgians citizens (like Olv007, Jofroi or BrunoCND) are on these parties but are clearly on good side (Govt one).

Relations between Belgium and neighbors (France - UK - Poland - NL - Germany ).

Even if UK is in TWO and Belgium was in CoT. These last ones have a good foreign policy. They are able to have correct relations with countries like Poland and UK.

France : relations weren’t specially good (even if few months ago, a MPP was signed). Several french citizens want Belgium, … and some wars (not TW) didn’t helped

UK : relations are good. UK never considered Belgium as an enemy (even when they were in CoT). There was some talks between our countries and in the past : we shared MPP. Some Training wars were organised and we helped (once) for their ATO.
The fact they considered UK as a country who could help them on their ATO shows that we maintain correct relations

Poland : They are those who have Belgian regions but they aren’t hostile to Belgium. I don’t remember if they shared MPP but several training wars were organised. Poland respects Belgium and Belgian government is in contact with PL one about current events.

Netherlands : Long time ago, there was a merge between Belgium and Netherlands (around 4.5 years ago). But relations aren’t that good than before. There were no MPP between these 2 countries and no war (training or not). Mainly because NL had no congress during 7 months in a row

Germany : Relation between Germany and Belgium are good. Clearly, there is no hostilities between them. I don’t remember recent training wars between these 2 countries (mainly because they didn’t shared borders). Both were CoT members.
