[UK-MoFa] A few words on Brazil

Greetings,

Time we get to know a country the UK is not so familiar with.



Brazil is the 4th biggest country in the world with about 7500 active citizens, 5 times the size of the eUK. Brazil is fighting for regions against Argentina who have been keeping them wiped for ages. Until recently, that was of little concern of the UK as we were friendly with Argentina due to the fact they were linked with TWO, but with the formation of Sirius and Asteria that has changed.

Old friends depart and new come in our lives. Brazil has put themselves on the same path Sirius is going, and now it is up to us to get to know one another. Lets start with the current Government:

is his Minister of Foreign affairs and we will be working closely with both to ensure better relations. I am going to loosely quote (as the original is in portuguese, this is just a translation) Nicolas Tesla as I think it is a good way to look at things, “correcting the mistakes of the past and accumulating learning our past which holds in view of our future”
We will establish diplomatic relations through talks and articles but also I would like to invite Brazilian Players to visit the #euk channel as we should have chats in #eBR with their players. They have a few government newspapers: Ministry of Communication, Ministry of Defence and Ministry of Education.

In terms of MPPs, Brazil has MPPs with almost all Sirius members: Spain, Croatia, Poland, USA and Turkey so the only Sirius MPP they do not currently have is with the UK. They also have MPPs with several pro-Sirius nations: Albania, BiH, Mexico, Russia and Ukraine. Finally there are a few ex-CoT/”third alliance” members that they have MPPs with: MKD, Bulgaria and Peru.



We in the eUK have been informed that Brazil believes that the eUK is responsible for Brazil not being a founding member from Sirius and/or damaging Brazil’s relations with Sirius nations. We would like to state that these rumours are false. The eUK has had vetoes to people joining all the alliances that it has been in, I cannot think of a single time that the eUK has ever used it. We are a country that is pragmatic and open to changes in the way that the world works, we understand that things have changed since the days of TWO and that they are going to change again in the future. There is no bad blood between the eUK and eBrazil and we would like to keep it that way.
