[UK CP] Statement on MEK TITANIUM and the UK

There has been a lot of talk behind the scenes on what the UK should do. Talk between various groups of UKers, talks with allies and even seeing if any of Freegigi's intentions can be gathered by talking to him/her. This article aims to cover as much information as possible on the subject.
UK CP, 'officially impeached' by buggy erepublik
In case you are wondering why I am not the still the official Country President of the UK it is because a buggy erepublik allowed the UK Dictator (appointed by a hostile military take over) to impeach me despite the 'dictatorship' update saying this would not be possible. The admins have not corrected this despite a ticket I sent to them. However, the UK population as a whole are supporting the continuation of my term as President for the sake of unity and organisation. Not to mention the fact we will not be told who is organising the UK by a foreign player who has taken Dictatorship.
MEK TITANIUM
It is clear MEK TITANIUM (the MU that conducted a military take over of the UK) is not here to create an empire for themselves, instead they want to get the UK wiped. I have spoken to the leader of MEK TITANIUM, Freegigi and it is apparent that not a word this person says can be trusted. It goes without saying that all of the UK organisation accounts should also not be trusted. We have already seen MEK try and gather funds in a MEK controlled org, I suspect this is not the last we will see in a misinformation campaign.
The UK under attack from many nations
The UK has come under attack from many different nations. The game shows France, Canada and Germany fighting against the UK. With the UK also airstriking Bulgaria. The UK does not support a war against Bulgaria and we hope the Bulgarians realise this is just the MEK Dictator and not the will of the UK population. France is attacking the UK in an act of opportunism and just wants to grab as much UK land as possible. Canada was attacked by the MEK Dictator and is (well was) allied to the UK before the war. Canada is not an enemy of the UK. Germany has entered the conflict to try and take as many UK regions as possible before our common enemy France takes them. Germany is a great ally to the UK, the Germans set CO for us in keeping Portugal out of our regions and have been working with us very closely. Germany entered into war against the UK for the sole purpose of taking UK regions and holding them; until the UK is no longer under this MEK occupation.
tl;dr:
- Germany is taking our regions at our request, to help us.
- Canada is an ally.
- The UK people do not want war with Bulgaria.
- France is full of Frenchies (so we must fight against them).
The UK will be having a vote to see if we should be boycotting David (The most likeable Frenchman) Guetta in response to this.
That just leaves the situation regarding our Norwegian fruit regions...
Norway and the UK's control of fruit regions
The UK has been renting fruit regions off our Norwegian friends. However due to the current circumstances the UK has not been able to keep hold of these and our fruit bonus. This is due to hostile interference and not due to Norway's actions. Norway are happy to allow us to have the fruit regions back at any time, however it is not going to be possible to regain them just yet due to the country being lead by MEK and Freegigi.
Prepare for the removal of MEK
MEK TITANIUM have proven by their actions they are not fit to be in control of the UK community. Therefore they must be removed. The UK will launch a revolution when enough CC and determination builds up. Once MEK is out, the plan is to put Mr Woldy in as a UK Dictator as he is trusted to hand over control of the Dictatorship when asked and will push buttons as asked. The only thing making him not the perfect Dictator is his activity level. Well, some of us have to do other things as well as erepublik... *sigh* The UK can, and should, have a vote on who should be a long term UK Dictator but Mr Woldy will be put in as Dictator at least for the short term once we free ourselves as he will do what the UK population ask.
Now what can you do other than sharing the link to this article? Well Funky Militia will be sponsoring the coup to put Mr Woldy (a UK Dictator) in place and might also be sponsoring the revolution as well. Both need 200K in CC plus money for Combat Orders, so if you can help towards kicking out this foreign coup please donate whatever CC you can to Funky Militia. Alternatively ask your current MU Commander if they will be setting CO against MEK and if they are, donate to your MU if you would prefer. However, organisationally it would be much better if we had all the CO money in one place (Funky Militia) as the starting costs (200K CC) must all come from the same MU.
The revolution
Well, simply it will be launched when enough CC and or determination is gathered and MEK are least prepared. This is being planned behind the scenes and will not happen at random. All UK allies will be informed before the start of the revolution and CO will be set from the start. I urge all UK Commanders to set CO for the first round and to contact all members informing them of the need to fight, or at least asking someone else in the MU to do this. Likewise PP's it is your job to contact all of your party members informing them of what you would like them to do, or at least getting someone else to inform members.
It should be obvious, but without unity we will not succeed.
The UK can and will be free from this coup and we are at least more active at the moment because of it. Respect to all UK players and UK allies working to end this occupation. o7

if all eUKers back then were smart enough. we could've avoided this. f*ck to all referendums and all sh*ts about whether under democrazy or dicktakership. we clearly knew this would happen but yet we ignored this.

That is one of the most unconstructive comments that I have seen in a long time.
Negative shit slinging at a time when we (the fine green and pleasant land of eUK) are in a dire situation is pointless and will do NOTHING to get us out of this situation.
If we are to regain control we must demonstrate a common firm resolve to work together - you whimpering 'we should have done x, y, and z' comments are counter to this and best kept to yourself at the present moment.
Ask yourself 'What would Gigi and her MEK drones LEAST like to see happening?' - and let's make sure that this is what we do - together, as one nation.
Whatever complaints you might have about BlueMax, it is clear that he has a good brain and that he writes clearly and effectively. I, as the longest serving member of the UKRP pledge my support (and funds) to work with him and the rest of eUK to rid ourselves of our unwanted guests.

first of all, we should've self-coup before MEK did it. certainly, Max was busy on referendums and bla bla and never wanted to self coup unless he hold a referendum and majority of eUKers agree to it. it was a perfect mistake he did as CP.
there had been warnings about UK would be targeted and I'm pretty sure Max knew this but he chose to ignore it.
look at the dmg we received because of our stubbornness. if we had done it, we wouldn't need to waste 200kcc for revolution. but I agree that he's good at writings...
but what has been done can not be undone. We will do a revolution and then dicktakership and build UK from scratch.... again.

Yeah I agree, making the CP be the Dictator is way too easy. Why don't we make it 10 times harder for ourselves?
We should make sure we get a middle man instead who doesn't even play the game so we have to text/call him to log in and push law buttons.
We should get someone with dubious popularly who hasn't won an election in years, rather than the CP who was recently voted in by the eUK people.
Above all make sure that it is someone who is guaranteed to be tanked against by even eUK players.

Sorry but I don't know who this Mr Woldy is... (Im sure he is a nice guy) but from what the guys on IRC are saying you have hand picked this guy? is that true?
Also shouldn't such an important decision be voted on? Ask the nation who would like to be considered in the vote and have an open free vote?
Lastly regarding you being CP. From what I can see a congressman started the vote. The dictator voted on it.. the game rules seem to indicate that a dictator cannot start a 'impeachment' so I don't think any rules have been broken. I know you mentioned a ticket raised to the admins, did you get a reply?

Mr Woldy or King Woldy.... is a well known, trusted and respected member of the community. Frequently demonstrating bi-partisan political position, seeking to maintain the security, safety and integrity of eUK for the ongoing happiness of her citizens. I have no doubts in standing behind him operating as country dictator for the benefit of democracy. He's the kind of guy that will still abide the mandate laid down when he takes on the task, supporting whoever is elected, even if that should be less desirable members of our community. I would put myself forward in this same capacity, but Mr Woldy is far superior to me with regard to widespread contacts and visibility within the community.
He was well known a few years ago, most of what you say is a load of crap I'm sorry to say.

clearly in this situation. Woldy is the most trusted player. we need him to be dictator first.. or to whoever who will be dicktaker as long as he is known and respected by majority of eUKers.
asking who will lead UK will come later. a dicktaker can choose his successor to be dictaker. so I prefer after we self-coup, we can hold a referendum about the one who is sufficient enough to be dicktaker later.

There is so much I disagree with in this article I'm not even going to start.
As a week old player, hoping to stick around a while. I'm very confused by all of this. However, bar the choice of next CP/Dictator, the plan set out here seems to me to be worthwhile.
so:
a) can anyone tell me what's wrong with the plan (ignoring who might be made dictator next)
b) tell me who should be/how we should decide who will be the person to take up this central role; and why.

I support the concept of having a constitutional monarchy/dictatorship with Woldy is our selected titular head (if he is willing to take on the role).
He is certainly trustworthy and I cannot think of anyone LESS likely to plunder the National Treasury than Woldy! He even has a certain charm and style which contribute much to the enjoyment of the game and will foster National identity and cohesion.
The fact that he only trains at minimal levels is totally immaterial - what *is* important is that he regularly trains and will respond when the eUK needs him.
