[TWC] The Writing Competition

I do enjoy a spot of reading.
Good day my fellow party members and eUK citizens, after the hustle and bustle of the party presidential elections and the attempted understanding of the intricate goings on of BigAnt and his journey through office I think we can all agree it's time for a break. So with your help and cooperation we should be able to have some fun.
I thought it best to, because of my love for writing, hold a writing competition. The topic of the piece is your opinion about the whole BigAnt controversy but in the style of a murder mystery. Alternatively: if you are a member of the GBDP you can write an article about why you joined the GBDP. Either must consist of at least 50 words and must have the [TWC] tag in the title or [GBDP] if you're writing about your reasons for joining. The prize for first place is £200, second is £100 and third place will receive £50. The winners will be decided by the amount of votes on their article. Also for every like this article gets £10 will be donated to the NHS for it's fantastic work with new players.
Please take part whether you are a member of the GBDP or not. It's for a good cause and even if you don't write, please drop a vote on this article and the entry articles. If you have any further questions feel free to message me or ask them below.
Yours,
Milrand .I. Foment

P.S. Entrants, please post the link to your article in the comments section below.

The sun of the GBDP is only beginning to rise Mr Popovic.

Thanks Mr Popovic and I agree with Halifax: Where are you?
@Mr Forment I am in WRP and I am candidate for Congress, which I"ve been waiting for so long.
I see. Once we have reached our aphelion (is that the right word) and you join our party you will have a lot of opportunities. Good luck in your congressional endeavours Mr Popovic.
Thank God I didn't pledge a tenner for every comment!
Good article
The only flaw is that people can and do buy votes
True. although its should be easy to tell.
Haha some relief is much needed.
I look forward to the inevitable sleuthin article victory.
Ha.
Great idea, would you mind if a posted a link to your article in my paper to help spread the word?
You are most welcome to your majesty. That would help our cause greatly.
Thanks for the donation by the way.
That was a royal writer reward, don't spend it all in one place 🙂

Ahhh, your competition. I'm going to violate your rule and spend it all on new players.
Good idea and good luck. Good to see these types of things coming from the GBDP.
We have a lot of events lined up friend, so I recommend you subscribe.
Done.
Look out for more competitions/events. Also are you writing a piece?
Nice idea 😉
Thank you, consider entering!
I may of but i am pinned down with my wars round the world article 🙁
You've until Monday... Plenty of time.
If you want to participate but don't have a newspaper contact me.
What fun! Looking forward to reading all the entries!
And thanks for your support of the NHS!
Why wouldn't we , the GBDP, support the NHS. They are on the frontline of developing new players, the future.
Of course, but you're putting your money on it... not everyone does, after all!
Where do we send the stories? To you? Or post them here?
In an article with the tags [TWC] and then the title of your piece!
It won't fit here, I'm sending it to you privately.

When does the competition close? And where can we find a list of all the entrants? I'd love to read them!
Ummmmm.... did this contest ever finish? Which was the winning entry?
