[TUP] Thanks and looking forward

First of all, a big thanks to everyone who voted for me to become Party President this month. I have set myself a very hectic schedule and will be dedicating a great deal of time to TUP. I’m honoured to be leading the party again and along with my Vice Party President keram10, we will do our best to make this an excellent month.



Members!

Without our loyal members we are nothing, so thanks to all of you for being a part of The Unity Party and helping us to achieve our shared goals.

We value our members highly and I’ll be keeping in touch with you as much as possible during the month. You’ll probably be sick of me by the end of it!



Get Involved

Now is a great time to get more involved with the party. Congress elections are coming up and as always, we’re looking for enthusiastic and dedicated members to step up and show that they are ready to progress. You’ll need to be active on the eUK forums and register for congress in our private TUP forum (which you can request access to from the eUK forum).

Our IRC channel is also very active and is a great place to come to speak to other members and get involved. You can find details on how to access our channel in our private forum.

If you don’t want to get involved, then that’s fine too. Whatever your involvement in the party, we appreciate your support.



Goals

TUP is the biggest party in eUK and holds more seats than any other party in congress. This is obviously something which we’ll be looking to maintain and we’ll be working hard to try to ensure we retain a large proportion of congress seats.

We will also continue to try to increase our membership. We will do this through messaging, the media and by the general actions of the party. By standing true to our ideals of doing the right things for the majority of the people of the nation, rather than the few, we hope to increase our membership. This has been difficult for a while as the nation’s population has been steadily falling. Hopefully we can now see a period where the population will at least remain constant and hopefully grow. Either way, we will work hard to ensure that TUP remains on top of its game!

For the Prime Ministerial elections we will be running a poll on the forums to decide who we will support from any interested candidates. We will also hold the usual party conference where all members are encouraged to help out with any policy ideas or suggestions. Once our candidate is confirmed, there will be a full scale campaign to get them elected.
