[TUP] Great Success!

Day 1,163, 13:05 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by The Unity Party

Another months congress elections are done and it’s another very successful month for TUP. We achieved 18 seats out of a total available of 40. A whopping 45% of congress!

A lot of hard work went into organising voters, placing candidates and ensuring that our potential congressmen campaigned effectively.

Huge thanks to everyone who helped out in the party and especially to anyone who voted for any of our candidates.

Our opponents didn’t make it easy for us. They continue to run as a coalition (known as Aspect) who’s primary goal appears to be to stop TUP getting elected. UKRP, BDP & RFA are all members of Aspect and they co-ordinate their candidate placement and votes together to avoid competition that they would otherwise have and to avoid wasting votes. Despite this big advantage, TUP continue to be the most represented party in congress by a good margin.

This month, more than any, there are signs that our smaller parties are losing influence. UKRP certainly get the most benefit out of the Aspect alliance, as other parties’ membership numbers and congress shares take a hit whilst UKRPs improve. TUP have also improved in both membership numbers and congress. The graph below shows the congress representation for the last 3 months.
