*The War Room* A Second Week of War.

Day 2,007, 07:17 Published in USA USA by Dauntless2000

Welcome back Soldiers to The War Room. Let’s talk about what happened this week that affects the men and women who fight for the Stars and Stripes.

First let’s talk about the very big whoops that was done by the government. Remember the Thursday conflict where we got the region of Aquitaine, well it looks like we had a piece of our coordination pie missing. The government was supposed to have declared France as a Natural Enemy before we struck, but unfortunately we didn’t have this before going in. Now we had to over the week attack France so we can hold on to the Natural Enemy declaration, this means to help France we had to hurt France at the same time. Nice job, even though we have made greater steps in coordination between the different Military Units, but it looks like we need to work with the government to make sure the US’ forces have the help they need in a time of conflict. I know the government was upset over what AIM did on their global debut, but this is inexcusably worse than what AIM did. Slapping around a nation we came to help because of a government snafu I think this is a bigger foreign relations nightmare then AIM’s moves on Spain.

A similar thing happened when we had a resistance war that would have release the region of Brittany to France. France did get it back as the government wanted, but sadly it could have been a failure because of communication. Sun Tzu would have been looking a little miffed at the government for not making sure the military knows what the government’s objectives in the battle were. Lack of coordination is not a good thing in combat, it makes the power of that force weak. I’m thinking about mailing back the drinks that man gave me as a token of apology for how my government has treated his country. In the end, the government is now releasing France’s regions and are letting the Natural Enemy Declaration expire.

Arriving in Italy, my gun crew getting back in the truck after checking are gun, Little Tom

We have been seeing a continuous attack on the nation of Serbia sense the Thursday conflict. The nation, on Monday, went for a big coordinated strike. The plan was to attack the Siberian held territories of France and the western coast of Italy at the same time and cut off their western resources. What happened was not a success, but helped in the continued pressure on Serbia. Serbia was waiting for us most likely from us working to hold on to the Natural Enemy Declaration on France. In other words, not only were we hurting an innocent country but we were also telegraphing are plans to the enemy, nice. My crew was sent to Italy to deliver as much damage as we could after Commander Haselrig told us about what happened in France and we needed to move to the other battlefield.

Little Tom and his crew prepare to drive a 105mm nail into a Serb’s coffin.

Sadly we didn’t have the power to drive them out, but this means we have made Serbia a force of defense, their main focus is trying to hold on to their bonuses which mean they are not as effective for their allies and are requesting their allies to help them. Haselrig, found a head belonging to a statue of the goddess Venus. He returned the head to the Italian government stating when he comes back he will recover the rest of her and the land that she lies upon. Knowing him, he keeps his promise.

On Wednesday, the USAF, US-AIM, and a number of allied nations including Germany the new trial member of the Circle of Trust made a return to Aquitaine and try to starve Serbia of rubber. The Allied forces made a hard push there but ended up being beaten back this time. We may not have completed the primary objectives on Monday and Wednesday, but we are keeping Serbia in a weakened state wondering when the next strike will be delivered and wanting to have the forces to counter it. These battles also help the USAF and AIM in their coordination work and making the military a stronger force.

Now we have a special military contest that has been decreed by the game’s god Plato. For seven days that started on day 2003 at 00:00 server time, a contest around the world to see who is the greatest Military Unit in the world and in each nation. With this we can see plenty of fight and might start a serious problem if we are not careful. So let’s see what the god of war for the new world causes by his actions. In this contest the top 50 units in the world are going to receive a pile of gold and each member of the top 50 will gain a bonus amount of bazookas and energy bars for seven days after completing their daily orders. The same effect will be given to the members of the top military unit of the nation. So let’s give it are all and maybe we’ll see a US unit hold a spot on the award podium in the world or maybe more.

For those of you who know from reading US-AIM News, I have done a temporary transfer to the US Marine Corps from the Cannon Cockers. I what to say that I’m happy to help another unit and the Marines were happy to receive help in the contest from members of our unit and also Commander Haselrig gave his blessing on this. I’m still a C4 man at heart, but if something bad happens to The Cannon Cockers, I might know a unit to look at. To the men and women of the US Marine Corps, thank you for accepting me in for this temporary amount of time. I’m happy to complete a fire mission for you guys anytime.

For those of you who missed my posting of this in the Editorial Article, I’m starting a program to help me do these briefings. The program is called The War Correspondence Program or WCP. If you help me by providing me the information to do SFL’s weekly briefs, I will be given a shout out to you at the end of my brief. I will call you a War Correspondent if you provide information and have an article on the issue you gave me. I will provide a link to the article with your name. If you give me information but do not have a paper or you don’t use your paper to talk about military actions, I will give you the title, Frontline Reporter. I want to do these briefing every week, but I’m not going to fill them with non-important information. I would rather cancel the brief then make you read things that are not worth a hill of beans. The more you guys keep me in the know, the better I can be in my articles.

The Briefing is Over, Back to the Fight.
