Day 2,639, 10:41 Published in Japan Japan by H E X

Hello everyone!

This week I asked Turt037, Regiment 3 captain, Secretary General in our party, and currently the Minister of Culture, History and Education.

Could you tell me something about the RL Turt?

Sure. My name is Nemanja. Serbian, 29 year old, currently working as a part timer at painterly workshop.

Please introduce your eHistory a bit.

I've been playing this game for awhile now, opened my first account back in 2009. The game was very different then..it was more about the people and the community: staying awake 'til 5am with 100 people to win a fight is a rare sight nowadays. That first account got banned, due to my mischievous behavior..(it was easy to cheat back then *ashamed😉. I learned my lesson after that, and started playing straight. In the beginning Serbia was a fun place to live in, but in the next few years it deteriorated to a couple of interest fractions, which do nothing but bicker among themselves. I got tired of that unhealthy atmosphere and started searching for a new home. Soon after that I found ardishabutaro's MoCH articles, which eventually lead me to eJapan.

What is the thing you most like in the game?

Community and interacting with people. In the last year or two I especially came to like journalism and expressing my views through satirical articles.

How do you see the current situation of eJapan, and what do you think about the future of the country?

The first word that comes to mind is...hopeful. Our nation was going numb and a lot of people had left under the weight of long occupation. It was a saddening sight for awhile but we're finally starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Hard times have left us one positive aspect: we learned how to work together an leave our differences aside or to use Auraborus's metaphor, we learned to form a fist instead of a wimpy slap. For the future, eJapan should focus on making strong individual friendships and stay out of the squabble of the big alliances. There will be time for that later.

Your favourite anime/manga?

I don't have any particular title that I could single out as "favourite" from either of the media, so I've decided to pick random 3 from the toplist. For anime I'll go with Kino no Tabi, Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu and Texhnolyze. As for the manga, I'll pick Oyasumi Punpun, Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou and Eden: It's an Endless World!.

Do you have any hobbies, or something you like to do in your free time?

Aside from the obvious otaku tendencies, I'm a dedicated reader and an occasional painter. You could say that painting is in my bloodline, inherited from my father. Also, I'm addicted to mountain biking. There aren't many greater thrills than riding down the mountain at full speed.

Do you want to say something to the readers?

I always hated this "say something to the readers" segment, because it always come out as cheesy and/or preachy. So, here it goes. Stay true to yourselves and never give in to petty urges like squabbling, trolling and hatred.

I'd like to thank to Turt037 for answering, and to you for reading it! 🙂
