Hello everyone!

From now I want to share a short interview with one of our members each week, to introduce ourselves a bit, and show who we are. I hope it'll be interesting for you. 🙂



This week I asked our Clan Lord, Aurabours about a few things.



Could you tell me something about the RL Auraborus?

RL job... a Director in a Healthcare Facility in the United States.


You are an older citizen of eJapan. Please introduce your eHistory a bit.

I've been a citizen of eJapan since my eBirth back in 2009. This May will be 6 years in the New World. eRepublik has changed considerably since then. You used to have to gain work experience to level up to qualify to work for different positions... game was very different. We used to be a regional power. I watched several "golden eras" come and go.


How did you become the leader of Shinsengumi?

I joined the Shinsengumi Military Unit back when our Founding Father, Vincent G was the Clan Lord. At that time I was very active in the ULJ and ran for congress in the Shikoku region. At that time, you had to run in a specific territory and gain enough votes individually. Ardishibuaro was the SSG Shikoku Congressman. We both had a love for that island. Vincent mysteriously disappeared and we eventually had the next two Clan Lords get banned from the game. No, i don't think it was at all justified or fair. Ardishibutaro contacted me to see if I would be interested, as I was the Captain of Division 1 of the SSG MU, in becoming the next Clan Lord. I left the ULJ and joined the SSG Political Party, was appointed MU Commander, and then was voted in as Political Party President. The SSG Clan Lord has always been Party President and MU Commander. At that time I was the 4th Clan Lord...


What do you think about eJapan's current situation, and how do you see the future of our country?

Its very difficult. As a small country, we have to be a "useful" ally for a much larger country &/or alliance. I don't think eRoC will ever be a friendly nation to us. Setting ourselves up as a "free trade zone" or creating some sort of benefit is critical. We need a great leader of the people, once who can unite us... and hold the CP office for month on end (RL months) not from multis... but do to a true unity and popular vote. Until then...
Right now, all parties are too self serving to see the larger picture. We are all leaves on the same tree, yet we fight amongst ourselves. A floppy and week wristed five fingered wimpy slap. We need to curl into one, and make a fist.


If you had to choose another eCountry to live in then which would it be?

I'm not sure. I have only lived in eJapan. We have been betrayed by so many. Maybe I would choose the eUSA and try to reunite what little relationship we used to have with them. Many of the other eCountries that I like have similar issues with the dominance of another major power oppressing them.


Do you usually watch anime or read manga? What is your favourite anime/manga?

Yes, I love Manga... and also watch some Anime.
I think my all time favorites are Bleach and Full Metal Alchemist. There are so many others... but over the years.. those stand out.


Do you want to say something to our members or the people of eJapan?

Unite. Stand together. Set aside petty differences, relish the uniqueness each party and member offers... yet swear allegiance to eJapan as a ideology and state... then find those who really work for the benefit of our country, have the diplomacy to negotiate and not offend key powers, and the ability to restructure and create our next "Golden Era". If we don't do that... we stay in our swamp of self pity and oppression.
Together we stand, divided we fall.
