Have you ever wondered how the government runs the country? Do you want to know where our money goes? Did you ever ask yourself what were the organizations and companies owned by the government?

Yesterday, I heard on IRC someone saying: “I didn’t know the Ministry of Industries organization was government run”

The Quick News will now reveal to you these organizations ran by the government and that are the gears that keep Canada working.


- Canadian National Defense:
It’s the Canadian Armed Forces headquarters. Directed by the Minister of Defense, it holds the budget of the army, buys supplies (moving tickets, weapons…) for the soldiers, enrolls new recruits. The Canadian National Defense is also used to buy supplies from foreign countries during wartime when Canada is in shortage of weapons and moving tickets (example during the Canada-France war). It possesses a newspaper, the Defense Updates that posts announcements about the CAF. Recently, the War Donation System has been implemented, to raise money in the Canadian National Defense, to open wars and give the eCanadian citizens the chance to train and improve their military rank, while staying at home.

- MeSu HQ:
The MeSu HQ is the headquarters of the Medical Squad of the Canadian Armed Forces. It is directed by the Staff Sergeant of the MeSu Squad (currently Cesar Augustus). This organization handles the money to the different medics to buy gifts for the soldiers of the CAF. It is funded by the Canadian National Defense. It usually buys the gifts from the government companies, or the cheapest on the market.

- Immigration Canada:
This organization is directed by the Minister of Immigration (currently Mustache Dictator). It welcomes the new citizens in eRepublik, and answers their questions, and gives them an additional sum of money (currently 15 CAD) to each new Canadian citizen that registers on the eCanadian forums. This way, money wasted on new citizens that are not interested in the game is limited, and it encourages new citizens to join the forums, which are the center of our community.

- SHINRA electric power company:
The SHINRA organization was founded by Adam Sutler which then donated it to the Canadian government. It contained 3 companies ( Q4- Canada Government Weapons, Q3- Government Luxury Housing, Q2-Canada Government Gifts ). It has been turned into a stockpile organization in time of Canada’s defense. When Canada is attacked, Shinra would release its stockpiles to the CAF. It is directed by a Deputy Minister of Finance, charged of Shinra (currently JT Vanguard), and appointed for a month.

- Ministry of Industries:
While Shinra is meant for stockpiling, the Ministry of Industries organization sells supplies to the CAF (Moving Tickets, weapons)and MeSu (Gifts), and releases products on the market when this one is in shortage (Grain, Houses)It also builds the Defense System and Hospitals. It is directed by another Deputy Minister of Finance, charged of Industries (currently miscue), also appointed for a month.

- National Bank of Canada:
This organization, held by the Minister of Finance (currently Alexander Rearden) contains the biggest part of our Treasury. And that is to protect it from being taken in an invasion, and to facilitate the funding of the other organizations. The National Bank of Canada releases the money for the Alliances, the Constructions (Defense Systems and Hospital), and funds the different government organizations. Recently, a bank has been opened where citizens can open an account, deposit and withdraw money, take out loans, etc…

- The Canadian UoE:
The Canadian University of Erepublik has been founded by John Wilkmot a few months ago. It teaches valuable information to new and older players about the assets of eRepublik. There are currently 6 courses in this University (Alternative Warfare, General Economics, Entrepreneurship, Canada and War: Successes and Failures, Erepublik Military Strategies and World Militaries, Canadian Political History, Getting Involve😛 Finding Success in eCanada). Recently, John Wilkmot resigned as Dean of the University and it was taken over by the government, and now directed by the Minister of Communication (currently Dominik). The organization was used to receive the registration fees of the students and pay the professors.

- Ministry of Information:
This organization, run by the Minister of Communication and Heritage (currently Dominik), possesses a newspaper, Ministry of Information, where the Minister posts announcements and updates about what is happening in Congress and in the Cabinet.

Now I also thought I should talk about some organizations and companies that are not government owned, but work to help the government:

- CAF Charity Organization:
Ran by Dominik, the CAF-CO has been created to raise funds to help the CAF. Citizens who want to support the CAF can donate any kind of currency to this organization (GOLD, CAD, USD, RON…). The organization will provide the Canadian Armed Forces with supplies bought with the funds received.

- Emergency Foo😛
It’s a company created by Killswitch, that stockpiles food to support Canada in times of crisis with free food.

Le Quick News va vous révéler ces organisations dirigees par le gouvernement et qui constituent les engrenages du Canada.

- Canadian National Defense :
C’est le quartier général des Forces Armées Canadiennes (CAF). Dirigée par le Ministre de la Defense, elle détient le budget de l’armée, achète les provisions (armes, tickets) aux soldats, recrute de nouveaux soldats. La « Canadian National Defense » est aussi utilisée pour acheter le matériel des soldats de l’étranger durant les temps de guerre lorsque le Canada est en manque d’armes et de tickets (par exemple pendant la guerre Canada-France). Elle possède un journal, le « Defense Updates » qui publie les annonces des CAF. Récemment, le « War Donation System » a été introduit, pour recueillir de l’argent dans la « Canadian National Defense », pour entamer des guerres et donner aux citoyens eCanadiens la chance de s’entrainer et d’améliorer leur rang militaire, tout en restant chez soi.

- MeSu HQ :
Le MeSu HQ est le quartier général de l’Equipe Médicale des Forces Armées Canadiennes. Il est dirige par le Sergent de l’Equipe Médicale (actuellement César Augustus). Cette organisation donne de l’argent aux differents médecins pour acheter des « gifts » pour les soldats des CAF. Elle est financée par le Canadian National Defense. Elle achète généralement les « gifts » des compagnies gouvernementales, ou du moins cher sur le marche.

- SHINRA Electric Power Company :
L’organisation SHINTA a été fondée par Adam Sutler qui l’a ensuite offert au gouvernement canadien. Elle contient 3 compagnies (Q4- Canada Government Weapons, Q3- Government Luxury Housing, Q2-Canada Government Gifts). Elle a été transformée en une organisation de stockage pour les périodes d’attaques envers le Canada. Quand le Canada est attaque, Shinra libèrera ses stocks aux CAF. Elle est dirigée par le Vice-ministre des Finances, chargé du Shinra (actuellement JT Vanguard), et nomme pour un mois.

- Ministry of Industries :
Alors que Shinra est utilisee pour le stockage, l’organisation du Ministry of Industries vend ses produits aux CAF (tickets, armes) et au MeSu (gifts), et libère des produits sur le marche quand il y a un manque de ceux-ci (grains, maisons). Elle construit aussi des Systèmes de Defense et des Hôpitaux. Elle est dirigée par un autre Vice-ministre des Finances, charge de l’industrie (actuellement Miscue), aussi nomme pour un mois.

- National Bank of Canada :
Cette organisation, dirigée par le Ministre des Finances (actuellement Alexander Rearden) contient la plus grande partie de notre Trésorerie, et ceci pour la protéger d’être prise lors d’une invasion, et pour faciliter le financement des autres organisations. La Canadian University of eRepublik a été fondée par John Wilkmot il y a quelques mois. Elle enseigne des informations importantes aux nouveaux et anciens joueurs a propos d’eRepublik. Il y a actuellement 6 cours dans cette universite (Alternative Warfare, General Economics, Entrepreneurship, Canada and War: Successes and Failures, Erepublik Military Strategies and World Militaries, Canadian Political History, Getting Involve😛 Finding Success in eCanada). Récemment, John Wilkmot a démissionné comme doyen de l’Université qui a été reprise par le gouvernement, et maintenant dirigée par le Ministre des Communications (actuellement Dominik). Cette organisation est utilisee pour recevoir les frais d’inscription des étudiants et payer les professeurs.

- Ministry of Information:
Cette organisation, dirigee par le Ministre des Communications et de l'Heritage (actuellement Dominik) possede un journal, le Ministry of Information, ou le Ministre publie des annonces et mises a jour a propos de ce qui se passe dans le Congres et le Cabinet.

J’ai aussi cru bon de parler de quelques organisations et compagnies qui ne sont pas propriete du gouvernement, mais qui travaillent pour aider celui-ci :

Dirigée par Dominik, le CAF-CO a été créé pour collecter de l’argent pour aider les CAF. Les citoyens qui veulent supporter les CAF peuvent donner n’importe quelle sorte de monnaie a cette organisation (GOLD, CAD, USD, RON…). Cette organisation fournira aux Forces Armées Canadiennes des provisions achetée avec les fonds reçus.

- Emergency Food :
C’est une compagnie creee par Killswitch, qui stocke de la nourriture pour supporter le Canada pendant les crises en fournissant de la nourriture gratuite.
