[Seanan4Speaker] My candidacy for Ceann Comhairle!

Day 2,303, 06:48 Published in Ireland Ireland by Seanan

Citizens and Dáil Éireann,

An old e-Irish tradition and position is set to be reinstated within the Dáil Éireann (Congress) by an election lasting today and tomorrow; Ceann Comhairle / Speaker of Parliament. A position set up to organize discussions and votes in the Dáil, maintain the integrity and security of the discussion threads (ingame and forum) and report worthy logs to the Irish community.

Members of Dáil Éireann - Please consider supporting my candidacy for Ceann Comhairle!

Objectives and aims
Act as messenger for Dáil members in passing discussions and comments between the Dáil Mail Threads - Overcoming the 30 member mail limit!
Mail individual Dáil members to highlight important discussions/voting times/proposals when they are submitted - To avoid important messages being missed in the spam!
Objectively and with a neutral perceptive report non-sensitive Dáil discussions and proposals (passed and rejected) to the Irish community - Greater transparency and communication from this diverse government body!
Assert straight forward and fair leadership in Dáil discussions to avoid confusion, keep purpose and defuse overly toxic arguments.
No fancy, flamboyant or legislative language... clear, easy reading communication.

Action, not words.
As the longest standing Irish Minister of Defence and exCommander of the Irish Army, many of you will have already witnessed my character and contributions to this community. For those who don't, my contributions reflect the players who inspire them - a mix of glory, heartache and persevere.

Holding military roles instead of political roles has always been my role; I've admitted overseeing more defeats than victories, learnt hard lessons from them and never tried to mask this behind politics. However, while I have never held a position as "politically orientated" as Ceann Comhairle, the skills in communication / presentation / objectively / fairness which I have displayed competence in the non-political Irish Army and Minster of Defence are transferable skills.

My "Art of War" series is evidence of my desire to inform creatively. An attitude of country before party was my qualifying trait for being appointed Minister of Defence across many different governments. My objectivity has been tested by strife and proven in my reporting pieces ("Latest UK-IRE War", "Dail Report for Commune Funding", "Analyzing current alliances" ).

Members of Dáil Éireann
I ask for the opportunity to perform this new role with your support.
If elected, I will bring the same level of commitment and professionalism expected from a solider - you will not be disappointed!
