[PM] Serbia: Natural Enemy and Region Rental Deal Explained

Many of you will have noticed the Natural Enemy proposal that has gone up in-game, directed at Serbia. As it's looking set to pass, I think it's important now to start giving out a full explanation, to quash the rumours and hearsay that are floating about.
If this is passed, and we go to war with Serbia, throughout the 9 day war I will make sure at all times that I have an article from my desk in the top 5, explaining precisely what has happened and what's going on with the war. I think it's incredibly important to keep the population informed, in order to encourage active participation.
Accordingly, I suggest to everybody that now is a great time to join the Army. The Army is tailored to offer more food than wages are able to buy, and accordingly, gives a great deal to those who want to fight. More fights means more ranking up, more experience, and accordingly more levelling up. Not only that, but the Army offers a unique community, and puts a great deal of fun into the game.
The training war offers a chance to complete missions, gives a slight boost to strength training, and a 10% boost to all damage done in those battles. I encourage all citizens to take advantage of the war in order to make the most out of our time.
Congress have decided to offer Serbia the regions of East of England, and Yorkshire & Humberside will be rented to Serbia for the sum of 250 gold. This puts a good ally on our doorstep, gives us a free monthly MPP with Serbia (value 100 gold/month), and gives us a training war and natural enemy period with which to train as a nation.
I might stress at this point that this decision has been made by congress, and not by my administration. I feel that it's important that big decisions like this are made by congressmen, as they're far more democratically accountable to the general population.
I'll be sending out private messages to all citizens in the affected regions personally, and offering them free moving tickets to move to another region in the UK.
In the coming days as we lose other regions (which is necessary to allow Serbia to reach Yorkshire & Humberside), I'll also be hosting auctions for the Resistance Wars, to allow government to raise some funds and profit out of returning regions. Keep an eye on the official MoD orders and my newspaper to find out where the current fighting focus is.
Contrary to popular belief, we are not renting Scotland, Northern Ireland, Wales or South West of England. This is an opportunity for Serbia to gain a resource bonus from regions that are superfluous to requirements, not the spearhead of invasion or the establishment of the UK as a major international battleground.

i have to say this will help our economy and give us the boost that other countries are getting from the natural enemies, but however it will open us up to invasion as the us and Canada may see us letting them have a hold on an area that could potentially lead to them opening a way to invade them as an act of aggression. I however, can not see the future, so i do not know if they will see ti as such, but we will need to be on guard as the us and Canada may decide that they want to prevent Siberia from being o n our island, and the only way they could do that, as we know, is to invade us, but i reiterate, good plan for our economy as long as it doesn't start a war we don't want.
This does not affect business - companies are not region based, they will all remain in the UK & we will not lose our 15% weapon and 10% fod bonus once the swapps are completed, as we control multiple oil and fish regions.
@Neogattsu: atm the US is not in a position to open any wars (too many enemy borders, they are quite weak diplomatically too), and Canada is about to NE Ireland and lose their Croatian and Chinese MPPs, making neither of them a threat. If anyone did attack, Serbia would soon sort them out.
Also, we have Brazil for an MPP. That stops NWO attacking us, and helping Serbia will discourage NWO from attacking us (Serbia still have the most active citizens and most powerful army in the world).

@daniecox: im just suggesting that prudence is better tan recklessly charging into a situation, the deal will benefit us in the short term, but in the long term may have ill effects, to make a choice that alienates us from one alliance right now would not be a good idea, so if we do go ahead with this deal, which i personally think we should, we need to make a deal so that neither of the two alliances think we are going to join the other until we truly make a decision.

Plus, we have a Brazilian MPP and France gets on really well with us, Panam wouldn't attack us and cancel their own MPPs. Especially with enemies such as Poland and Spain (maybe Indo and Russia would help too) on their doorsteps.
