Greetings mon citizens. Today I write to you with a smile on my face. Instead of complaining about the war module, instead of complaining about unread tickets, or other silly decisions, I will instead give you a picture of the day I faced today.

I logged in this morning to find our battle against unending pot was not going well. With 4 mini battles gone, we were losing 4-0. It seemed that there was nothing we could do to stop the seemingly undefeatable EDEN. Not only this, but i was faced with the daunting task of ensuring that Poland had no route to steal our prized asset; our grain rich London.

Firstly, I set about my morning cup of tea, and then adjusted my attire appropriately. After all, one does not need to be scruffy, to be diligent. After my monocle was in place, and my top hat secured, I set about finding a way to save our country, and fixing some flared up relations with our Dutch neighbours.

After successfully wooing their President with my devilish good lucks, unbelievable wit and snappy dress sense, I managed to ensure that not only were the Netherlands guaranteed an early return to the eWorld, but also that they would do so in a fashion which would ensure that they would be free from Poland, and ensure our own safety. A strategic series of Resistance Wars began, and our plot became visible to the world. It was now that even EDEN could see what we were doing, and try to position themselves to counter this.

We fought diligently, and we fought successfully. Whilst ensuring our swift return of the Netherlands, I also dropped by at Phoenix HQ, were I sought assistance and assurances. The great thing (which I really cannot stress enough), is that when a country needs help, and has a solution, Phoenix will bend over backwards and tell you exactly what you want to hear. From then on, we won 8 consecutive mini battles against a resurgent EDEN force, with huge amounts of tanking being done on their side, and a decent amount done on our side to ensure our victory in the last battle. Never has romper been left so dismayed in his entire life.







So to confirm;

Today London was saved thanks to a huge effort from Phoenix, the UK (and its totally awesome president), but most importantly: by each and every one of you. Our damage today has blown my mind. We have successfully steered 4 seperate RWs to their conclusions (with 3 close), as well as a huge battle being won diligently, fairly, and to be honest, quite easily.

Today we showed EDEN that it will take much more than a mere Canada to stop us. Today we showed Phoenix what we can do. Today, we showed the world, we might be junior by name, but we are not even close to junior by nature, or damage.

I also managed to get hold of a few nice little titbits of information about Canada. Their Military is run on a weekly budget of approximately 800 GOLD. To put this in perspective, this is a military which has less total members than us, and manages to supply the same amount of people per day, as we have idling on our IRC chat rooms, yet manages to cost roughly 10 times what our military does. So the next time you complain about our military; just remember how diligent our system is, and how diligently they administer it.

I would like to personally thank Tom Morgan, Rawdon, Count Drakula, Betafoxtrot, Sven_Goran and Blaggard for their contributions today, on behalf of the UK. Not only has their incredible dedication to our country enabled us to stop a London attack, its also allowed us to restore NL, as well as help our Serbian allies in their fight to save Vojvodina. Thank you to all of them, thank you to all of you, and on behalf of me, I also thank me.

Its been a great day, one which was spent together, instead of trying to legislate or insult one another. Does it take the threat of being wiped to bring us together?
