1. Bring back our allies? Who exactly, and do you plan on MPP them, or simply say, hey we're friends again because I say so?

4. Other than the shape of our country, how does renting out regions affect us negatively? If someone like Poland were wanting to wipe us, 4 extra regions would only mean 4 extra regions to use weapons and food on to still lose.

5. Taxes are at 2%, so I hope this is a typo and not a reflection of being out of the loop. What if everyone wants 1% taxes, while having MU funding, education programs, and a huge stack of MPP's, will you also give the people those too?

1. Who exactly? Everyone I can and perhaps more.. I was not and mot one that logs on for 20 min a day then logs off. I talk to these people in IRC, chat in their articles and get to know them. Hours each day getting to know and talking to different countries raising our standings.

No country that joined us did so "Just because i said so" Shoi, Beorn, Foxfire, myself and the rest of my team put a lot of interpersonal relationship into our conversations and through the term grew more and more allies. You would be amazed what effort and caring gets you in this game.

4. Renting out regions after we just got them back is a hard blow. Why did we fight so long just to get our land back? So we could rent them all back out? Call me silly but it may be my pride saying that I want my eCan back. Helping is 1 thing. Selling out is another. Of course as you know I wouldnt dictate anything. There would be talks then a vote or referendum to find what eCan wants.

5. I know they are 2% My opponent wants them back to 1% so I am just using that as a benchmark atm. Honestly and you know me better than to ask this question.. If people want the impossible I will work with it and show exactly what is happening.. Yes if people want 1% with full funding then I will give it to them. They wont get much funding but they will see fully what they are getting and why. I would love to have an accountant or someone really good with math in my finance department so that we can start with a transparent MU funding program. Perhaps to go as far as to show what 2%,3% or 4% would net each MU and/or do for the country. There is work and effort needed to go into these things to make them work and I try and will try to get people that are willing to do that for the country.

First, we didn't have to fight at all to get them back, we had to sign a NAP.

I am going to call you silly, and I was silly myself, because for a long time I held out that I wanted my eCan back, all of it or none of it, but that attitude and approach only led to a perpetual wipe by eSpain.

This is a game, not RL, and I can live with a funny looking map if I can enjoy playing the game as a citizen of eCan.

Also, renting out regions to eNL and eSwiss has done more for them than any of their alliances have. Region rental is huge.

I see your point about renting out more than one region, and I'd gladly scale back the agreement with eNL to get another country or two back on the map, but renting out regions with redundant economic bonuses is a net gain all around for eCanada.

You didn't exactly answer 1 yet. So do you mean that you won't be signing MPPs with all of them? I still think we should stick to a policy of only signing MPPs with countries at war.

1. Bring back our allies from the past.

We have all our allies maintaining a relationship with us. With low taxes (even with high taxes) signing MPPs with nations are not at war is purely for show. No need to waste money. Not sure what other allies you want to see "back".

2. For your renting regions point: I think it's great we're doing something another country had not thought of during our wipe. Unlike us, eSwitzerland and eNL both face PERMANENT wipes. That has taken a toll on their populations. Their countries would die if we hadn't helped them. We also do get payed for this service. For a grand total of 4 regions we receive minimum of 3k cc per region (min 12k, max 24k per month) which helps cover some tax revenue while still being an attractive tax haven.

3. Taxes are good low, we can draw in a lot more heavy hitters, raise it too much and a lot will leave, Canadian or otherwise.

1. Allies does not equal money being spent. It could be unspoken alliances where we work together and share articles or knowledge.

Perhaps get insight into different cultures and get more out of this eWorld then our current little corner 😉

2. This is the peoples choice. You and everyone knows I dont push things on my own. We will talk about it then decide as a country what is best. If the masses want us to rent all but a few of our land then we will. If they want 1 rented.. then so be it.. If they want us to keep all our land.. Well you get the point. It will be in the hands of the people to decide.

3. Taxes being low is a double edge sword.. Yes it drives in other players but it also can drive in TOO MUCH OF THE WRONG TYPE OF PLAYER.
What helps the people in the short term can be used to draw in a political party making massive profits off the 1% tax who gain power later on and keep all taxes at 1% forever choking the country out. It has to be looked at very carefully IMO and we have to weigh the pros vs the cons.

1. That's not what I meant by my first point 😛 Indeed, we can rekindle friendships, but I was saying we need not spend more than required. We can be allies without MPPs.

2. Congress made a decision here and it would be unkind and not classy to kick them out. If anything the argument will come down to money (again)

This should be a topic revisited once a month to gauge the peoples thoughts that term.. it is ur land to rent any every player within our country should have a say on what we do with that land. 3. I am not going to play dirty but Congress can be abused. We have seen a mass multy to get a certain self admitting PTO party in.. A"Not saying that was DMV's fault" but it also means people within that party can usher in their buddies and next month we see that number grow bigger and bigger making it increasingly harder to protect our way of life.

You're right we should talk about renting regions periodically. But I don't think we can just kick them out. I think we signed a 3 month agreement or if we do decide on kicking them out we should give them 3 months notice, or 2.

Why not? Its costs us nothing and we generate more revenue and we are cash strapped as it is. Your reasons for this negative stance are very weak. Also, we have given up more than half if you factor in what was given to eSpain. It is AMAZING what eCan has accomplished since it became agreeable to turning over regions.

No. They are at 2% and this strikes an excellent balance with what we would like to spend. You will have to factor in spending with your goals for relationships with allies. I suggest you get a stronger finance guy on your team to shepherd you through the economy issues.

Honestly on the taxes side its a hard cookie. I want players to get a little break but I also want MU's to start funding their players again. get the poor new players some tanks and food so they can keep fighting and playing..

I would honestly not want to see taxes go over 4% but at the same time I do not want them to drop from 2% back to 1%.. Perhaps this vacation can go a little longer but in a week or 2 after elections I will hope to have a talk started then a resulting survey or referendum sent out. i know I am being a parrot on repeat but this is your country as much as it is mine. You should have a say in it and we need to work together to rebuild this broken country before more players come from other countries and do it for us.. in their own image

Alright, everything besides Taxes is solid so I'll probably vote Oinyo 4 CP.

This is kind of my MO as you know.. .Helping the new player and keeping them in the game.. Of course we need money to do that and if taxes are a no go then I will probably have some way to find and get the funding for this 😛

2. Completely open government.

Good idea but I didn't see a plan.

My suggestion:
Make Addy's proposal of removing CDC a reality. Best thing you could ever do, vis-a-vis Clan Wolf Charter and stuff.

My plan for completely open government is the same as I have shown last term I was CP 😛 Simply not hiding things and creating talking points for the people to discuss outcomes to situations and so on.

As for removing the CDC.. That is a massive step and one I am not sure I am now or ever willing to take.

Clan Wolf charter is perfect for the party and it does reflect a lot of how I act but I need to have the ability to bend to the peoples will for it is the people that vote me in and it is their choice on how we will move this country forwards 🙂
