[NP] The PP Elections

Day 1,974, 19:08 Published in South Africa South Africa by Marmaduke IV

Yesterday, an attempt was made to PTO two different political parties by a group of rogue citizens known as the Desert Lions.

Under the leadership of Léon Reno, the group ran candidates in two different parties. One was himself, running in the Union of Patriots party. A party which the Desert Lions sought to PTO. The other was the National Party, where the group ran a candidate, Naroist, under the guise of an ATO, hoping to draw votes away from the UP party, where Léon Reno hoped to rule.

For days, Léon Reno preached the importance of an ATO in the National Party, because god forbid a couple of Macedonians and disgruntled citizens have their own party, right? Wrong. It was a sham. A ploy to distract from the real PTO'ers. The Desert Lions.

Thankfully, the National Party was able to unite to prevent a PTO from ever coming into fruition and the Dignity Brigade caught Léon Reno's bluff in time to just barely prevent the PTO by 3 votes.

Léon Reno was the MoD last month and has been very involved in the internal workings of the country recently. How did this rogue statesman manage to get so close to country leadership? This is a question we must ask ourselves, our nation's leaders, as well as security ministers and spymasters.

This is not the end of the Desert Lions. They will be back and likely try to take over another party next month. Until then, we must organize and unit to keep them away from parliament.

I thank all citizens who voted yesterday and a special thanks to all NP members who helped to stop the Desert Lion PTO as well as Dignity Brigade members who did the same in the Union of Patriots.

Very special thanks to Ejdatful for his great spywork discovering the use of multi accounts by Leon, which the admins are still reviewing.

To my fellow NP members, teamwork and cooperation is what we need right now and I congratulate Azax on his victory and hope together we can turn this party into a bastion for those who support an independent South Africa.
