[!Notice!] Candidate Psi

Day 702, 01:57 Published in Japan Japan by Laurana Psion

I bid you a good day, fellow citizen. I would like to announce to you now, my candidacy to be one of the Hokkaido representatives to the Diet (congress) of eJapan.

Twice former Shikoku representative to the Diet of eJapan. Click here to see a full dossier.

Why should you vote for me? Well, there is a whole host of reasons, which you can find in the main part of my previous declaration of candidacy (it is of course slightly outdated and refers to past events but the core of it is still unchanged). What someone is all about should generally be unchanging and firm so that voters may be certain of who they are voting for. As a result, I see no need to copy or repeat my previous declaration word for word.

However, for those of you who are short on time, I would like to highlight two key points from my past declaration. Firstly, I am largely independent in thought and have eJapan’s best interests at heart. Secondly, and perhaps more importantly, I would be an active representative. A vote for me is not a vote for a new piece of furniture for the already impressive halls of the Diet; a fact that has been proven during my last stint as the representative of Shikoku in various voting and discussion threads.

The main hall of the Diet. As you can see it is already well furnished. What we need are more active representatives.

As a candidate, I hope that you’ll find me worthy of your support. As a fellow citizen, I ask you not to vote blindly. Vote for the candidate who you believe is best for your nation! Above all, remember to vote! It’s your right to have a say in your country’s future.

In light of recent events and as a potential representative of Hokkaido, I would like to end with a quote to fellow my citizens and candidates alike:

Boys, be ambitious. Be ambitious not for money or for selfish aggrandizement, not for that evanescent thing which men call fame. Be ambitious for that attainment of all that a man ought to be.
