[MoFA] The UK to war and a NAP with the Irish!

Dear citizens of the United Kingdom,
Today I would like to talk to you about two topics. First I will inform you of a war plan we will set in motion over the coming days. After that I would like to talk to you about our new Non-Aggression Pact with the Irish!.
As you know we recently formed the alliance of TWO with Spain, Serbia, Slovenia, Hungary and Poland. Some of you might also be aware of Spain occupying Portugal. They rely on a few of those regions to maintain their resource bonuses. Now, to protect those important regions in case of an assault TWO has devised a little plan, ratified by congress, which involves us going to the Azores!
The plan is simple. Around the time of publishing this article Canada will propose us as a Natural Enemy. This will open a war through which we can conquer the Canadian region of Newfoundland, which luckily for us borders the Azores! Once we have occupied that region we will propose Portugal as a Natural Enemy and conquer the Azores, which will have been successfully liberated by Spain in a resistance war by then. We will then liberate Newfoundland again and return it to Canada, while we maintain a presence in the Azores.
This will allow us to have a real war while supporting our alliance! Don’t be scared when you see Canada propose us as a natural enemy!
Now on to something that has already happened. Ever since Ireland left EDEN we have been in continuous contact. They have expressed interest in mending the relationship between our two countries, and as symbolic gesture we have agreed to sign a Nonaggression Pact. This means that both our governments and congresses formally promise each other not to engage in any hostilities, directly or indirectly, between our two countries! The full treaty will be published soon.
I believe this is a good first step on the way to reconciling. Our relationship has been shattered and put together sparingly through the extensive use of duct-tape over the ages, but for a long time we have not managed to maintain any real friendship.

I just want to say in behalf of Irish people. We didn't knew UK is going to attack Portugal and our NAP is made unofficially like 1 week ago.
If Canada let UK pass, we'll consider them traitors and gib ur best to punish them.
We have left EDEN, but we won't let Portugal alone.
NAP with UK will be respected and UK is doing respectable thing by helping their allies, unlike Canada.

Official peace between the UK and Ireland is long overdue.
We better have back up in-case of an attempt by either Canada or America to capitalise on that little attack of ours on another country because trusting them not to even have it cross their minds or find it tempting when the devil on their shoulder brings it up would be like trusting a fox to guard a chicken Coop.
I don't think the people of eCan would sign off on this war if they knew it was all about screwing ePortugal over in order to help eSpain...

Glad to see better relations between eIreland and eUK - we've been on better terms for some time now and I hope we can get over past bad blood in light of this just being a game 🙂 Go easy on eportugal if you must bully our old friends though : /

Looks like I'm right to distrust the motives of Canada. They've hardly got a record of trustworthiness. The response of Canadians here, to my concern, merely highlights the fact that we need to keep an eye on them. I just hope we haven't rushed in, without thinking this through. Unless this is some kind of elaborate triple or quadruple bluff on our part. Where the betrayed, fool the betrayer, by fooling them into reacting in our interests, obliquely... or something like that... ; )

As previously said by others, slightly worried we have revealed too much. I do like the idea of a fresh war but I'm very surprised Canada would play an active role in betraying their old ally.
