Anunciamos ontem que iríamos apresentar novidades, mas tal não nos foi permitido por problemas que não são do nosso controlo. Hoje no entanto, estamos prontos para finalmente apresentar o culminar desta semana de trabalho do Ministério dos Negócios Estrangeiros.
The Commonwealth Agreement
Após uma longa semana de negociações e a aprovação dos respectivos países, Portugal tem a honra de anunciar a assinatura de um acordo com três países que, por vários motivos se têm visto a destacar como exemplos a seguir no eRepublik.

Este acordo não só reforça os nossos laços com outros países, mas também aumenta a cooperação no caso de perigos de Take-Over ou falta de recursos devido a invasões, como poderão constatar no documento acima. Através deste tratado, procuramos ainda reforçar a actividade diplomática Portuguesa nos próximos meses que, como país fundador deste acordo, tem obrigação de não deixar que se desvaneça e se torne em mais um "Strasbourg Treaty".
Destacamos ainda os planos para a realização de jogos mensais em conjunto com a comunidade dos outros países (jogos parecidos com o que já fazemos internamente, através do MDS). Pensamos que a comunidade só tem a lucrar em ver isto cumprido nos próximos mandatos.
Todos sabemos que os aliados vão e vêm. Muitos deles são impermanentes e, tal como o eReino Unido fez, mudam de amigos como quem muda de t-shirt. Só os verdadeiros amigos ficam e Portugal já aprendeu isso há muito tempo. Esperemos que este acordo, não só seja uma porta aberta entre a comunidade Portuguesa, Alemã, Francesa e Irlandesa para continuar o reforço dos laços que já nos unem, mas também sirva de janela para um continuar de boas relações entre países da TERRA e da EDEN.
Gostaria no entanto de pedir por favor, que votassem as seguintes versões deste artigo e as comentassem. Este seria o nosso primeiro passo em mostrar cooperação com os nossos amigos da Commonwealth. Não demora mais do que 2 minutos:

Dear International readers, friends, allies and respected enemies.
The Portuguese Ministry of Foreign Affairs is proud to present to you:
The Commonwealth Agreement
After a long week of negociations and the aproval of the respective countries, Portugal is honored to be part of the same group as France, Ireland and Germany, in an agreement that is the culmination of cooperation and an already healthy relationship between neighbours and friends.
We leave bellow in this link, the agreement's charter.
The Commonwealth Agreement
The Commonwealth not only strengthens these bonds between us, but also increases cooperation in case of any PTO-Danger or in case of lack of resources due to invasion, as you will be able to see in the link above. We also have monthly games between our citizens planned, which will become a good oportunity for interection between people with different cultural backgrounds - which is what this game is all about.
Rest assured though: as one of the founding countries, Portugal shares the responsability of not letting this treaty fade away and become one more "Strasbourg Treaty". We will begin to see activity from the Commonwealth already this month.
We have one more final subject that we would like to make very clear. We all know that allies come and go. Many of them are only temporary and easily abandon their friends, like the eUnited Kingdom did in the recent past, trading friends for new "allies". Well, open your eRepublik map and look at them now. These so called "allies" have done nothing for them.
As Portuguese, we are honored to count on many friends at the moment. Ireland, France and Germany are among them. We hope that this agreement will continue to strengthen these bonds. It will not only become an open door between good neighbours but also another window of cooperation between TERRAN and EDEN countries.
