I’m FightAndProduce, your utter disappointment of a minister MoFA for the month. While everyone else is toiling away in MoFA. Making sure my whips are well maintained. I’m writing this article :3.

Finland



As you can see, our lovely regions which we’ve acquired put us right next to Finland. Basically, we’re looking to take Lapland. We’re going to find Santa’s holiday house. Break down the door and gun down all the occupants. Joking aside (Or am I?) We’re looking to get a nommy region for ourselves while helping our Belarusian friends. It’s win-win all round and we can flex our muscles and show off 🙂. We’ve already got our NE proposed and it’s going to pass (hopefully) unanimously. Either way it’s going to pass. eFinland here we come!

Recently, Spain was involved in a new war with their Portuguese neighbors. This war isn’t new and it could be compared to the UK - Irish ones.

After his re-election : Rolbap launched a Natural enemy law against Portugal. It was mainly to get Norte back (Portuguese Aluminium region).

But by launching an attack against Portugal. Several spanish opponents launched Resistance wars against them. These last ones were located in USA (Maine), Canada (Newfoundland and Labrador), Mexico (Valley of Mexico) and Portugal (Azores). With the MPP battle : Spain had five fronts to manage.

Currently : Things aren’t very good for them. Spain lost the MPP campaign 87-0 (On one side, there was TWO/ACT forces and on the other, Portugal had CO’s). Mexico had a region back and the worst thing happened for Spain (after losing initiative) : They lost the Azores RW.
Losing this RW has several consequences for their economy : They lost Aluminium and Cattle (Azores is the bridge between Spain and North America).


Azores under Portuguese control = no link with Canada and USA

At this moment in time, spanish opponents launched three RW’s : Gulf of Mexico (Mexico), Algarve (Portugal) and North Eastern Venezuela (Venezuela). As you know : Venezuela is a Spanish friend and that RW wasn’t launched by their citizens but by Spanish opponents. The goal is to drain their damage. It means that Venezuelan fighters are helping Spain there. (Spain rented two regions from Venezuela).

Spain already lost two resources and if Algarve and North Eastern Venezuela are lost : they could respectively lose Grain and Oil. Portugal is also supposed to attack on the following hours a Spanish core region.


Spanish have two regions there (The Canaries is the bridge). They rent them to Venezuela.

The conflict between Spain and Portugal isn’t new. There was a meeting between these two countries. On one side, Spain wanted access to Norte (and no rogue RW’s) and they proposed to Portugal to join ACT. But conditions were : Azores, Norte and Algarve under Spanish control (+ no RW supported by PT Gov) + No MPP with Colombia, Argentina and Uruguay (aka CUA) during 30 days + Veto these 3 countries if they want to join TWO or ACT.

On the Portuguese side : They don’t really understand the NE law, considering that Spain has Aluminium in Maine (currently no road following Azores RW) and it is hard to break links with CUA without being considered as a “puppet”

Last thing : There’s no need to hide that relations between Spain and CUA are terrible. But CUA has no interest to attack Spain, because they would lose a lot of MPPs.

We hope that a solution will be found for the benefit of the two countries (which will give back full resources to Spain)

Hungary


Podolia after the attack

Hungary lost Podolia recently to Ukraine, which means that Ukraine have gained a Iron region while Hungary has lost one. The region was taken yesterday and it is unknown how long this region will be under Ukraine’s control. But I would not think that it will remain in their hands as Hungary is a lot larger than Ukraine. With Ukraine at over 250 citizens and Hungary at 10,000. This is not a matter of if it will happen. Just when.
