[MoEnt] MS Paint Competition and Royal Quiz!

Hello there everyone,

I am LongShotzZ, the Minister of Entertainment for this month. I hope to be bringing you 5 articles over the course of the month in order to keep you all up-to-date with external and internal gaming events. To many of you, I’m a familiar face, I have helped out with the MoHA department numerous times before and therefore kind of know what I’m doing. I currently run the Minecraft Houses game -which has taken a break for the moment- and a few roleplaying forum games, including Dungeons & Dragons. I hope this article will give you a bit of a lowdown on a couple events I hope to hold this month and also that it will entice you to join some of the on-going gaming events.



Royal Quiz Revival:
I want to start off by announcing the revival of the Royal Quiz, generally held on IRC this is a quiz that consists of numerous different rounds. Past rounds have included; geography, Dr Who, eRepublik history, sport and many more, groups are to be no more than a maximum of 5 people. Prizes for the winners are as follows;

1st Place – All members are awarded 10 Q7 tanks each

2nd Place – All members are awarded 1000 health’s worth of food

3rd Place – All members are awarded with 500 health’s worth of food

I am going to be keeping my cards close to my chest here and not tell anyone what the rounds are going to be. Simply turn up on the night, if you haven’t already got a team then we’ll find you one and tally-ho, off we go! This quiz will be held on IRC, in the #eWoldy channel on Thursday the 12th at 8:30pm GMT.




Microsoft Paint Competition:
Each weekend I shall be running this competition, partly inspired by Wayne’s idea of a drawing competition. Thanks Wayne. I shall give you a word or phrase and let you run loose with Microsoft Paint; you will then have until the next weekend to send me your competition entry via PM (only 1 entry is allowed per person). Next weekend I will announce the winner who shall receive 500gbp for their -most likely- effortless piece of work, various other pieces I like or find humorous will also be shown and the painters of those will win themselves 50gbp each. This week’s word rather fittingly is ‘Belgium’. Now get painting!!!
