[MoEd] War! What is it Good For?

Day 2,261, 10:04 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Department for Education

In today's guide, we will go over the military module and how to fight. Fighting and the war module is one of the fundamental parts of eRepublik. Knowing what all the buttons mean will make you a smarter fighter.

The Daily Order is set by the Military Unit you are in. Defeating 25 opponents earns you a reward of an energy bar and 5 bazooka parts. The Campaign of the Day (CotD) is set by the Country President (CP). These orders, while sometimes conflicting, give you an idea where it is best to fight. You can click on Military campaigns (or the Wars tab at the top) to see a full list of battles. Latest events show the results of recent UK battles and bills proposed by Congress.

The wars section shows all campaigns being fought across the world. The top is the CotD, as mentioned above. Other battles the UK are directly involved in are shown next, if any. Next are battles our allies are in. You can fight for allies without needing to move. Below are all other campaigns (both regular wars and resistance wars). You will have to move to a country involved in that war in order to fight there.

This is the battlefield. All you need to do is click the fight button to defeat an opponent. One click will defeat an opponent, no matter how many hits it takes to defeat that person. Make sure you have enough health. You can restore health by either clicking the food button next to the fight button or on the recover energy on the left of the screen. The objective of the battle is to reach 1800 points which is done by keeping the wall above 50%. During the first 30 minutes of battle, the side above 50% gets 10 points per minute, between 30-60 minutes it is 20 points, between 60-90 minutes it is 30 points, and the final 30 minutes are 60 points.

After defeating an opponent, the following stats appear. The damage is how much influence you add to the wall. If you are fighting against the Natural Enemy (NE) you get a 10% bonus. Rank points add to your military rank, which will influence your damage. Experience points and prestige points are rewarded based on how many hits it takes to defeat an opponent. Experience helps you level up and prestige gives you weekly rewards.

Clicking the first icon on the bottom right (the one with multiple bars) shows the battle statistics. The battle statistics show the top 5 fighters of the battle plus yourself. You can search through different divisions and different battles and the overall results for a comprehensive list.

Clicking the Campaign details at the top center of the battlefield screen will show you the current situation of the campaign. You need 83 points to win a battle. Division 1 gives one point per battle, D2 two points, D3 three points, and D4 five points. As mentioned above, to win a battle you need to reach 1800 points which can be achieved by keeping the wall above 50%. You can look at the current wall of each division by hovering your mouse above each division.

In some battles, an offer may be available to fight for money. Dealing 1 million damage will give you an X amount of money, so if the offer is 100 GBP per million, you will receive 20GBP for dealing 200,000. Note that if the offer is available, it is usually under the condition that the wall is below a certain level. So, in the case of this image, fighting above 52% will not give you money.
