[MDP] Congressional Candidacy

My fellow eCanadians, some of you may know me from PM's or IRC or a number of other ways, but for those of you who don't, I am I-Bleed-Blue-93 and I am running for Congress as a representative of the Military Dictatorship Party this coming congressional term. After the most recent term of eCanada’s “congress” it is nigh time that we again have the right to make decisions as to the direction of our great nation.
As for my qualifications, I can say that in terms of titles and positions my list is less than impressive, but all of that is changing. This month I have been graced with the position of Deputy to the Minister of Foreign Affairs for eCanada and have been working hard as such. I have also been given a place on the renewed Military Council of the MDP by the Dictator himself.
I am a player who is on every day trying to make a difference and is always interested in discussion and getting involved with what is happening in eCanada. I will not simply vote yes or no on congress proposals, I will discuss with my fellow congressional electees why and for what reason all of these proposals should be passed or not.
I am not one for inactivity or blind decisions.
You may be asking yourself; why should I vote MDP in this month’s congressional elections?
You should vote for the MDP because it is the MDP that will make a real difference this coming term, it is the MDP that has eCanada’s best interests in mind, and it is the MDP that is eCanada’s future.
I support eCanada by supporting the MDP, all else is heresy.

So what's at the top of your agenda of 'gitin'er done' once you are elected into Congress?
I might vote for you/MDP if your top goal matches my interests. We can't vote for individuals now so I need to know where you stand in regards to your party's goals.

@Plugson: The MDP has a prioritized list of topics and issues that need to addressed this coming term.
Such things include; MU Funding, deciding on a tax-rate that best serves eCanada, and advancing eCanada's political standing in the New World.

Yeah, but when we will see a real plan about MU Funding or the other priorities.
I know the issues. We all know the issues. These issues rarely change from month to month, so each party/Congressman will have to address this limited set of issues.

omg, you mean by collectively sharing our ideas, eCanada is collaboratively forming a policy that MDP will present in Congress. We need to start calling y'all the Military Democratic Party : )
It's been a good week for discussions in the media. Good to hear someone is looking them over to put out some results.
As Homer said we are working towards a final plan for MU and VAT issues.
As the MDP, the Dictator makes final say on our direction, this gathering of ideas is just a way of getting ideas and really considering all options so that our glorious leader can make the decision that he truly wants to make and can be truly proud of.
The Congressional election is a blast because it is a period when all eCan's political parties throw policy ideas around. Odd that there has been very little foreign policy talk. Perhaps you'all are saving that bit of fun for the upcoming CP election? Which is gonna be a doozy.
It's certainly going to be an "exciting"one Quimbie, there is no doubt about that.
