[Lelouch4CP] Deja-Vu: eCanadian occupation and CP Elections [Day 2320]

Greetings fellow eCanucks,

It seems like not all that long ago that we were under eSpanish occupation. While it lasted several months, we did see ourselves freed from their grips, if only for a short amount of time. Recently, we have found ourselves in an all too familiar situation. This time, however, with a not so familiar enemy.

eUSA and eSpain, while allies, aren't so comparable when it comes to foreign policy. We were able to broker a reasonable release agreement from the Spanish, something which seems next to impossible this time around. eUSA shows no signs of bringing a reasonable end game to the table, and wishes to hold on to their newly conquered lands. They flatter themselves by presenting erroneous demands, and flexing their muscle like a schoolyard bully.

During a wipe, the CP can be a very important key to the countries survival. Communicating with and aiding our allies in missions abroad, working towards an endgame scenario to the occupation, and working with our nationals at home to see to it that our community stays polarized and active during these slow times. I believe I'm just the man for the job.

While negotiations do not seem to be an option, as CP, I won't stop trying to find a solution. I will not bend or break to any demands that do not benefit the eCanadian population. I will not break ties with our allies, no matter how much the USA cries. In fact, I wish to further strengthen our ties with our allies. If the American Government can not present a fair and respectable solution that the people of our country can't agree on, then we will fight back and aid our allies in RW's and important battles.

I offer a fresh face to the CP Chair. While I admit Rylde has done well as our CP for the last 2 terms, I believe a fresh face will do some good. I plan on working with our allies in an effort to secure a region where we can Airstrike so we can relocate during the wipe. This will help secure a congress for next election. Ideally, this region will be strategically chosen so that moving costs to fight in our RW's are as low as possible.

Together, we can work to keep this Country alive during this wipe. Together, we can reinvigorate our community. This is our country, and we sure as hell won't allow any delusions of Manifest Destiny to change that. Let us show them, and the world, yet another proud eCanadian victory over those who wish to keep us down! Let us work towards the future, or die trying!
