Ireland leaves EDEN
For the past couple of weeks, Ireland has been debating over the issue of whether or not to leave EDEN, the alliance they have been in since 2011. A referendum that occurred in the closing days of Winston Hope Smith's term as Irish president saw nearly two thirds of the population vote to leave EDEN but it was agreed that another final referendum would ultimately decide the decision.

With The Psych0 being elected as president of the country once again, a referendum was agreed for last Saturday, continuing on into Sunday with the results being released on Monday. And so they were.

Ireland has voted to leave EDEN and become a neutral nation. There were a few reasons for this. Many began feeling disillusioned with the idea of brotherhood after several nations defected and were treated poorly by the HQ. Ireland has historically given support for Bulgaria in wars and when they were booted from EDEN earlier this year, they started to become more distant. Recent events, such as EDEN HQ's interference in the Irish government last month may have played a part in the public's decision. Their withdrawal from EDEN comes at a time when Romania signed an agreement with Hungary over renting one of Ukraine's original regions, against Ukraine's will and against the wishes of EDEN HQ.

In total 119 people voted in the referendum. Of that 69% voted to leave EDEN, 22% voted to stay and 9% abstained.



Max Macfarlane is back but Lonestar is gone as a result
People come and go in this game. That is certainly true but people can be gone permanently. Lonestar was a world famous player who originated from Sweden, having been a several time country president there and having been the figurehead for the prominent party there, Flashback Sweden. He has sold his account to the third reincarnation of Max Macfarlane, who was once a prominent citizen of the eUSA and of ePakistan for much of 2010 and before.



As a result of Lonestar's departure, a lot of important Swedish government articles and resources have been lost permanently as his articles have been deleted. Valnad, a former multiple term CP of Sweden, has released an article on Lonestar's departure.



In Europa, 2 wars were recently launched : Serbia vs France and Poland vs Turkey

Serbia - France

Well, during the last term, Poland decided to have a training war with France and they declared them as Natural Enemy. Poland wiped France but they gave them back 3 regions : Aquitaine - Languedoc and Midi-Pyréenées.

By giving them back these regions, Frenchs had Fish, grain and rubber as resources. If the 2 first ones are common. Rubber is hard to find in Europa. You must know that there is only 2 rubber regions in Europa and both are located in France.

On the same time, Serbia has several regions in Italy and was almost able to have access to original french regions via Tuscany.

Poland has Corsica and Provence Alpes Azur and it wasn’t possible for Serbia to attack Poland (they should lose almost all their MPPs), that’s why Poland decided to launch resistance wars on these regions. Polish and serbian soldiers fought for French resistance when French soldiers fought for Poland.

For France, their main goal was avoid to have a border between them and Serbia because they know that it should probably be a wipe for them and that’s why France fought for Poland on these 2 RW. For our serbian allies, these RW were a success, and once they had a border to Corsica, they launched an natural enemy law against France.

On this moment, the first battle of the campaign is launched and Serbia is winning 33-11. Except huge surprise, Serbia should win. France is mainly fighting to stay on the map when Serbia is trying to have rubber and by this way, have all resources.
Poland vs Turkey

It was in the air and now, it is official : Poland declared war to Turkey. Well, even if Eden has some internal problems, Turkey seems one of their last countries with a lot of regions. Before beginning the war : Poland has all the resources and Turkey has 9 (they missed rubber).

Poland was able to have acces to Turkey via Ukraine and once they had Taurida, a NE proposal was launched. Following that, Poland attacked Black sea coast of Turkey.

Even if this war was important, 5 resistance wars were launched to drain Turkey. Turkish and Eden soldiers were mainly focused on the war with Poland and Resistance wars were succesful
Consequences of these RW are quite simple : Turkey lost access to grain and aluminium. They have still grain and aluminium regions but they are not linked with their capital (Mediterranean Coast of Turkey).

On this morning and after a huge campaign, Poland was able to win 85-80. By this way, they keep initiative (they can choose to attack a turkish region when they want on the following 72h) and Turkey lost another resource (deer). Black sea coast of Turkey was their only region where deer was available.

Now, Resistance wars continue to be launched and the main goal is to reduce Turkish empire.
