Hello eUK.

Today I would like to announce my intent to run for Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. It has been rumoured for at least a few months now that I would run but I have been biding my time. As I learnt from a very wise man; you have to step up in the time your country needs you. I believe now is that time.

If you are wondering what sort of experience I have, then look no further. Since I began playing, I've been a multiple time congressmen and party president. At first this may not sound like a lot but it has given me a good understanding of not only the eUK's legislative system but it has made me an efficient organiser and administrator. These skills have also been developed during my work in the Ministry of Home Affairs, in which I have served a range of roles including that of the current Minister. Having worked as Deputy Prime Minister under Jamesw, I also have a firm grasp of the eUK's current domestic and military affairs, all of which will be taken into consideration in order to produce cutting edge policy. Furthermore, I feel that we need to begin stepping up recruitment and retention. If we can expand our active player base we will have a stronger foundation on which to develop the eUK. My experience in domestic affairs can produce smooth domestic system that will function well throughout the month. We need someone with the experience to utilise fundamental domestic policies to help us build a great nation, and I have that experience.



This article is the first of many that I will be releasing over the next few days. This one will be shorter than the rest as it’s only a declaration article with an outline for my next few. I am aware that my main opponent has already come out with his first article. I must urge you all to read each of our manifestos as we release them over the next few days before making your decision. It’s more fun that way. 😉

Before I head into the Manifesto outline I am delighted to say that I have chosen Stefan1992 to be my Deputy Prime Minister Candidate. He will be helping me write the manifestos over the next few days. I chose Stefan because of his vast experience over the last few months. He has served as MoComm, MoHA and MoFA and I believe his advice will be very valuable.

Domestics – The old favourite.

Here we will be looking at our ideas for the Ministry of Home Affairs, Communications and Legislative Affairs. we have some tricks up our sleeves for this month and I’m hoping to achieve some progress. The eUK community is probably the best erepublik community out there and we need to use this to our advantage to make our domestic Ministries awesome as they once were. More on that to come soon in the actual article.

Economics – The Financial bit.

This month we plan to continue to have both the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Trade. For those wanting to know about the Ministry of Profit; it will still exist as a Sub Ministry under the Ministry of Trade. From my experiences as DPM this term I have realized that having a whole Ministry dedicated to Profit but limiting it to just a few orgs isn’t a great thing; but should still continue under guidance of the Minister of Trade. This manifesto will include our plans that will hopefully get our local businesses making lots of shiny profit with the help of some awesome government schemes. More to come. 😉

Military and Foreign Affairs – This is the bit you’ve been waiting for isn’t it?

We have been developing a few ideas with soldiers who have been heavily involved with the military over the years and we have decided to seek inspiration from some past institutions. By refining traditional techniques and incorporating them into our modern perspective we've developed some exciting ideas and plans for the military. As for Foreign affairs we'll continue to support our wonderful allies and keep up the amazing reputation that we've been building recently within the alliance.

Summary – This will come after the main manifestos and will serve as a last reminder to Vote for Shabado. The main point of this last manifesto is to reiterate some of the key points that we have outlined throughout the campaign. We will also answer any FAQs that have been noted throughout.

The roles of each Minister will be explained in the relevant upcoming manifestoes. I just wanted to give you a brief outline to what you should be expecting from me. You’ll notice that my Structure looks pretty similar to the one of Jamesw this month. This is because I believe it to be the layout to get things done. As I was Deputy Prime Minister this month is has given me some insight into what to expect and this plan is one that has been tried and tested this month and I think it’s been very successful. Some of you will notice that I don’t have a cabinet secretary again like my opponent does. I think that this role should be merged with the duties of both the PM and the DPM like it has done this term with moderate success.

Once again I would like to state don’t make up your mind until you’ve seen all of the manifestos. I believe each will have the potential to sway your vote and I look forward to publishing them over the next few days.
