[India]Thoughts from a non-troll

Day 1,046, 17:13 Published in India USA by ligtreb

Dear India,

If you know anything about me, you know I'm not a troll, look up my history. I've feuded with SEES in the past, I am not going to post pictures of cows or stereotypes here, I'm trying to be reasonable.

That being said, I felt the need to write this to portray a more rational point of view from someone on the other side. Also note that I hold no position in our President's administration and I don't work for our MoFA. I speak only for myself, but from what I've been reading, many Americans share the same views I do.

I am extremely disappointed in the actions of India's government, and this bothers me even more because I personally fought for India. I enjoyed fighting against Indonesia and Iran, your former occupiers, and used my own funds for weapon upgrades. Fighting for a country's liberty is one of the most fun parts of this game, and India was a worthy cause to fight for.

Since then, I was saddened by how the end of Karnataka rental was handled, but hoped our countries would continue to work together. Now, in the last couple of days, I question if that is possible.

I was willing to believe you when you said it the President who let Serbia swap through Malaysia was acting on his own and didn't have the support of the Indian people. But if that's the case, why is India accepting peace with Serbia?

19-4, it wasn't even a close vote. India could have fought against an ally of its former occupiers and helped out the Southeastern Asian countries at risk because of Serbia's presence there. Instead, the war is now closed.

I know you don't like America, but what about Malaysia? It saddens me that India put its Southeastern Asian friends at risk by closing the war against Serbia.

That wasn't what bothered me the most though:

India's government accepting an alliance with Hungary 23-1 confuses me. I understand that India says it wants to be a neutral country, I respect neutrality. Neutrality isn't being friends with one of the main countries in an alliance working against the interests of countries in need in Southeast Asia. Neutrality isn't signing an MPP with a country that is in the same alliance as Indonesia and Iran, who used to occupy you. Even if you think the USA was bad to you, at least the USA tried to work with you and paid you rent (thousands of gold worth). What has Hungary, Serbia, Indonesia or Iran done for India?

I apologize for my rant, but I would like honest answers. I know India has every right to worry about its security, but I know what it is like to have your country constantly under threat. My country was down to only one region a year ago, and things looked bleak. But we never stopped fighting. To this day, the USA is under constant PTO threat from the Hungarians and Pizza the Hut. But we don't try to be allies with our enemies, we fight them.

Note that America is far from the only country that feels this way. Your MoFA published articles in China, Croatia, Romania and Spain, explaining India's defense. Read the comments, they support America even though the USA is not in EDEN.

From Liquid Oxygen:

Tell that to us eMalaysian expats who were run out of our country by your actions. You're not looking out for your best interests, you're merely puppets. You've made your beds, now lie in them.

From The Samurai:

If a eChina president grants access to Serbia, he will be instantly impeached, and beaten to death in RL

I think why this really bugs me is that India is starting turn into the UK. Remember them? I'm old enough to remember when they were allies of the USA and EDEN countries, then they let Hungary swap through and are now in Phoenix. The UK became significant for a short period because of the switch, but can you think of the last relevant thing the UK has done? That was over a year ago, and the UK has been irrelevant and useless since. I hope the same thing doesn't happen to India.

I apologize for the length of this article. This is something I feel passionate about would like to hear the thoughts of Indians, Americans and citizens of the world.
