[GGRyan] Intro to the iNCi and Around The UK Today - Day 1194

Day 1,194, 06:05 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by GGRyan

Welcome to the latest edition of North West Europe Today! After a hectic Congress election and a mad start to the day in the eUK, this one should be a good one - and with a cover feature on the Inci too!

IF ANYONE HAS ANY INFORMATION TO ADD, PLEASE COMMENT OR MESSAGE ME!

The Department of Defense is currently ordering fights in Upper Carnoila, to aid Croatia against Serbia. They continue an open war with Portugal after opening it as Natural Enemies due to strategical need, and now cannot close it for a few more days. Now, however, onto the main feature!

The iNCi are a group of primarily Turkish players who, unhappy with the political situation in eTurkey, decided to move on and find a new place to call home. They attempted to enter countries such as Australia and the UK, but neither was comfortable with accomodating such a large number of foreign citizens.

They then came to an agreement with the USA, and moved en-masse to the country. They report on their Wiki page that they came to an agreement with the eUS to run Congress candidates in the February 2011 election - but this has been met with great uproar in the eUS. Their worst fears began to be realised as the iNCi got to a high of 35 Congress seats during the election; at present, they have only obtained 14 of the 50 available seats.

They currently are the second largest political party in America, however widespread co-ordination from the others limited their impact in this election. The problem, however, is deciphering the true intentions of the iNCi; they claim on all fronts to be a friendly group who intend to return to Turkey, but eUS citizens are not comfortable with their presence in Congress and the country.

The UK is currently the scene of fighting in it's capital city, London, where Serbia have attacked. Serbia are currently in the country due to the rental deal it has arranged with the eUK.

During war, after 24 hours with no battles, a region is automatically attacked. Seeing as Serbia held the initiative, this meant Serbia would automatically attack one of the eUK's regions after 24 hours. Iain Keers, Serbia's Minister of Finance and ex-UK President, has assured the UK that it was an accidental auto-attack after the absence of the Serbian President.

President Jhorlin has stated that this should have no impact on the friendship between the UK and Serbia. Ministry of Defense orders are to defend London.

At the time of writing in Ireland, the latest military orders have not been updated but one would think that they too will be fighting alongside Croatia in Upper Carnolia.

So soon after Congress elections, Presidential candidates are already rising with MikeBane posting a statement of intent to run for President.

In Canada, alot of debate is ongoing about their Support a Platoon Programme. The SPP is designed to aid Canadian Armed Forces troops in their gold training, however is currently ailing and has been shown to have shortfalls and flaws.

They've also released a public budget for the upcoming Congress month here. It's actually a very interesting and simple read, which is something I feel more countries should take up.

A Congress member of France have proposed Spain as Natural Enemy, a proposal that has been very hastily voted down. Orders are to fight for PANAM allies Turkey in the Mediterranean Coast of Turkey, classed as an important battle.

President Kallmar may have to be careful after his opponents made gains in the Congress elections. The last Presidential impeachment proposal narrowly failed 4 days ago, but with only 6 days of his term left, it remains to be seen if the knives will come out again.

In the Netherlands, all applying Congress candidates were elected, despite some not even recieving a vote. This worrying situation needs to improve fast, as no major events have occured in the country for days.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has released a plea for new diplomats to step up.

Norway had slightly more candidates than the NL in the elections, although is still suffering; only one journalist, in his newspaper Huginn and Muninn, has released articles lately and no major proposals has turned Norway into a very dire place.

Finland has finalised their peace with Estonia, and their involvement has ceased as far as that front is concerned..

Thanks for reading, and congratulations to all Congress winners. I shall be updating the Inci section later with quotes and more, so friend me and watch my shouts! 🙂
