Created largely as a reaction against what was seen as the over-indulgence of disco, many of the core elements that formed the foundation of the HMS Funky formula began to be usurped by electronic machines and synthesizers. Evolving a hard-driving, insistent rhythm, implying a more carnal quality fused with transient elements. Today we know this ethereal, hard to define sound as Funky Militia

Ideals
- We fight in the best interest of the UK and their allies, with most (if not all) daily orders being the same as those set by the Ministry of Defence
- Funky Militia is apolitical and encourage members to join whatever party they wish
