[MoD] A Call to Arms Update!
Emergy Maxfell
This month the Ministry of Defence will be implementing some interesting and (hopefully) fun changes to the MoD's Call to Arms program. For those of you who've never heard of the program, Call to Arms is a weapons supply system which provides 4x Q7 weapons to all eUK citizens who vote public MoD battle orders in the media.
So, the big change that's coming to Call to Arms is the introduction of a military unit competition system. That is, military units of the United Kingdom can now compete against either other for the most number of "Call to Arms" requests in any given MoD article. After each MoD article expires, we'll record the number of responses per military unit, with the winning MU being the one which has the highest rate of participation (calculated as – number of requests/mu total membership). We want to reward all the active military units in the UK, not just the ones with the largest membership.
Want your military unit to participate in the program? It's easy. First off, the following military units have already been enrolled in the competition – TUP Family, The Legion, British Army, Royal Navy, Royal Army Dental Corps (RADC), People’s Army, Liberty, Funky Militia, National Health Service (NHS), Royal Air Force, and the 7th Cavalry. If you don’t see your MU listed above, send me a message and we can fix something up for you.
The first and second place winners of our weekly Call to Arms competition will be rewarded with currency, gold, or Q7 weapons (a variety of choices will be offered to the winners). Those items will be distributed to the Military Commander for his or her personal use, or to distribute to MU members if so desired.
As part of Talon's 'Youth First' initiative, I'm currently looking for someone to help me track military unit participation and/or someone to hand out weapons! So, if you're a new player, like helping people, and have free time - Send me a message to get involved.
That's about it! Happy Fighting UK!

well seems a bit biased towards small MUs, a 5 player MU should pretty much be able to have 100% every day this is a lot harder in a 100 player MU

You're right, so there will have to be some cut off limit. Right now the smallest MU is 23 people, so we won't be going drastically lower than that number.
Added Royal Air Force
They should have always been listed.
so call to arms v26 TUP
If people want to post their MU name, that'd save us some checking time.
Ultimately though, we're most interested in getting weapons to players who use them, so if you post 'Call to Arms' regardless of listing anything else, you're going to get counted.

Can non euk citizens take part that are only in Poland for the bonus to help supply a euk MU?
Sure, I don't see why not. They are still in the MU right?
Yep, I'm the MU leader 😉
That's fine.
So long as the person taking part is a member of a UK MU, they will be counted as participating when they post their CTA request.
every 'elite' has its exceptions, Polish citizenship? of course, we all benefit from better supplies, but then , the eUK is shrunk into a much smaller place than it really is.
@ Alpha you know the leader of British Army and NE is a Polish citizen for manufacturing bonus's right?
It makes him no less passionate about eUK.
@ Alphabethis -
For me, it's about a players intent. If someone fucks off to Poland just to get rich, that's one thing. But it's an entirely different matter if the only reason they're there in the first place is to materially benefit the UK. Not long ago I had Polish CS because I was supplying BEF. If I had kept UK citizenship during that time, I'd have cost the government 5,000 CC more per week than it would have otherwise.
MU suppliers always follow bonuses, that's true for every nation.
