[eUK MoFA] On the Theft in eIreland
Foreign Office
Ohai eUK.
NB: I unreservedly apologise for any inaccuracies in this article.
Before I start, the coordination in the ATO manoeuvre we did yesterday was extraordinary. Congrats to everyone on this success! o7
This here article is a feature from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs covering the recent dramatic events in eIreland, our neighbouring country. While we’ve been embroiled in our own drama, last night eIreland was left reeling by a potential treasury theft and several erratic CP actions. While many know the conclusion of events already, this is an objective presentation meant to enlighten anyone confused by the sequence of those events – you absolutely should draw your own conclusions.
Preamble and Build-up
Yesterday, the eIrish CP, Daniel Plainview suddenly sacked his long established and respected Minister of Finance, AppleMan, and replaced him with another guy, Releasethe Krakken. The new MoF released this article, in which he claims that AppleMan was holding 2 million cc of government money which should be returned. It seems that this money had been transferred out of the government organisations at an earlier point in time (the CP would later claim they were transferred out at the start of his term) – in addition, much of the gold had been loaded on the monetary market.
On AppleMan’s side, he claims that he withdrew that money to secure its safety, owing to raging suspicions of many senior Irish citizens towards the CP – basically, that he once played with a former account (sawc) who had raided eIreland of its money as CP in the past. At this point in time, the situation was not clear, but Congress clearly saw enough to launch an impeachment law against the CP, which looks likely to pass, even though there were initially some reluctance from many eIrish citizens.
From the comments on this article, it’s clear that there was some form of audit on the eIrish finances, which involved the money AppleMan had as accounted for, and noticed irregularities. Basically, money vanished.
The Climax
This aside, upon proposal of the impeachment law, the Irish CP’s actions eventually became more and more erratic, which may have confirmed to some that he was responsible. He first proposed a law to leave Aurora alliance (an alliance currently friendly with Sirius) and published this article attempting to justify his actions (screenshot here in case of deletion). They contained some intriguing and certainly entertaining leaks from an Aurora HQ meeting, supposedly showing some form of disagreement, but that is not the focus of our article here.
Daniel Plainview also proposed a rogue welcome message which has been dealt with and removed by admin (sadly I did not take a screenshot). Some eIrish are using this troll proposal to work to get him banned.
In short, he went utter crazy – whether this is a meltdown, or an attempt to go out in a blaze of glory, is all subjective.
Consequences
Assuming it was the CP who took that money, the rapid actions of the old MoF likely saved eIreland from losing any more money. On the other hand, if he is indeed innocent and provoked by the impeachment law, stirring up trouble (which most will deem unlikely), then whoever it was got away with corruption, because frankly this cloud, not to be forgotten, will stay over Daniel Plainview’s head for a long, long time.
The general conclusion of the eIrish public is that Daniel Plainview was chiefly responsible for this whole drama, particularly when he published a very Chewie-esque article crediting ChewChewShoe and our very own Dental Corps (apparently Rfeist in particular) for giving him the idea. The impeachment law has just succeeded - this means the runner-up in the CP election, mirek12345, will be left to mop up the mess. A delightful task, wouldn’t you say?
As it is, the eUK sends its best wishes and support to eIreland in this difficult time, and hope that they pull through. o7
Thanks for reading!

Voted.
It's about time DC finally got some credit \o/
Seems ireland might need another Euro Handout
Ole? Xd

DC are innocent...
at least Winnie's rogue NE'ing eUSA prevented a knee-jerk NE on eIreland
Nice, objective and informative article about the matter. Thanks!
He appointed a multi that was PTOing a party at the time to the MoF while he himself was PTO'ing another party & attempting to rob the country's bank.
All actions failed and he just looks stupid now.
Right, I skimmed it but here's what will happen. The CP can request back any money taken from the orgs via admins and the admins are forced to give it back.
It's only when the CP steals it, that's when admins don't return it!
Correct me if I'm wrong!
not if hes impeached huehue
A chew chew shoe multi? 🙂
Nah, he's sawc. Also a thief 😛
SAWC strikes again! At some point you have to admire his determination to steal....
[removed]
1. We're not sure it is SAWC.
2. Movements to impeach the President were under way before any financial action took place, our two Labour parties were already well into talk of removing him for both incompetence and an attempted PTO of my party.
3. The President breached every constitutional boundary in removing the Minister for Finance, and every major political faction began to move against him immediately.
In short, what happened in eIreland wasn't a crisis, everyone acted as they should have and the problem was crushed before it even became a problem. One of the Finance appointees of the usurper got away with a tiny proportion of our treasury that was left over from the security measures, but nothing significant. There was no interruption of military activity, as our national military is independent of our state politically and the funding for it already in its own hands. What's far more remarkable was the immediate unity around a key problem...
😁This😁
The Irish treasury is still exactly 98.99% in tact.
It must be SAWC. Otherwise my whole reality is a sham....It must be he...
Seems to lend credibility to him being sawc if anything... What a fail!
wow I did not know Ireland had billions of IEP. You must really be financial wizard if you made the treasury so much 😃
Brian, look at RtK screen shot of orgs. I took financial action 4-5 days before I made a huge drama fest to get the fools to impeach me, lol
yeah i'm too lazy to look for his recent article link but he revealed the entire plot with his intentions from day one, of course I see most of the article as trolldom, and my doubts haven't been dismissed that he's sawc.
But fortunately our MoF did his job well in the event of a future threat. Oh if I could've seen the look on DP's face when he saw that Apple was one step ahead of him. 😛
you should see my face laughing at how much you think that I just blundered along with this. I knew he took the bulk of it out when I was elected in April. Still had enough to make it worth my while though....
Miau!
Good Going Ragnell..
And support for eIreland.
I believe the money was just "resting" in his account.
voted, nice article as a start of yours 🙂
