well this is a bad change for for most of us, and it forces to us to wam exclusively in high quality companies and raws as the tax has a fix number divided to the amount of units produced.

on another side this money which the governments takes from us doesn't disappear but they get redistributed to the population.

so, a lot of questions can be raise😛 will the govs lower their taxes (we don;t have that much leverage here tbh - but if things get rough we can always relocate even in a country with less bonuses and lower WT); remember, this tax is efficient as long as a country can keep high demographics), if we are cleaver and our govs are playing fair we can get our money back by using the new fight for money and other possibilities are still around the corner if we look long enough.

In my opinion, this is a great change with respect to the revenue crisis the governments are facing. The x10 appreciation of the CC has left the countries without reserves destitute with respect to the wealth of the players, which fueled decentralization and a feudalism of MUs built around rich players. This change will strengthen the hand of the governments worldwide, leading to increased government army sizes and supplies, as well as various welfare programs.

I also think it is good in terms of equality. The new players paid 25% of their income as tax, whereas capitalists who produced raw materials paid nothing at all. All the tax burden was on the workers, consumers, and the food/weapons producers. Now the WaM tycoons will also pay their fair share.

Yes, i agree because the principle is not wrong. There was a lot of untaxed earnings, basically we can call this tax on profit. The only problem i see is the context in which it is introduced, and i mean having no real economy.

I continue my doom and gloom assessment. Some large country with high bonuses and low threat will set the tax at 1%.

This will suck large numbers of the mega WAMers there over time.

Prices will go up a bit in countries with a higher tax drawing black marketers to move goods from low tax to high tax countries (the barrier to this is like zero).

Over time all large countries will move to a 1% system. Overproduction via WAM will continue.

It is certainly possible Rahl, but I guess the countries with max bonuses would collude to extract some rent for their max bonus country, as well as preference rents for people who would want to stay in that country all else being equal.

There is a demonstrable benefit to those countries that currently hold 100/100 though. Big guys will get far more in tax revenue allowing them to stay big and keep it.
