[EDEN Media] Devil`s Soldiers in the Garden of Eden: FAR & the Squadron of Light

Dear Leafs, Brothers and Allies,

This is the second part of our newest series of articles, The Devil’s soldiers in the Garden of Eden. This time we will present you two dire enemies in the past that changed their ways and now march as a real one, they now march as brothers:

FAR - The Romanian Air Forces and SOL - Squadron of Light which is the most influential Military Unit in Bulgaria.

For long months those two were sworn enemies, much blood was shed but the two found common ground at the Garden of Eden. Those two units are an evidence of how our tree unites enemies and brings hearts closer.


F A R

In order to present you the legendary FAR Military Unit I decided to contact FAR’s second in command, Naufragiatu. Here are the highlights of the short interview we had, enjoy.

(Q) : Okay, first of all tell us a little bit background, when it was founded? And by whom?
(A) : FAR (Fortele Aeriene Romane) was formed by Shadow Figure in Day 164 of the New World. I suppose that makes it one of the oldest Military Units in the eWorld. At that time there was a need for controlled damage and FAR accepted that challenge. Although those times are blurry for the newer soldiers, regarding the commandment of FAR, it is said that Valyfl, Shadow Figure and Astromaniac switched positions for a while. Tanks like Rupetot, zzZZzz, zappa, titillica, Robius or Blaster2008 grew and made their names and FAR's known in guerrilla fights for Sweden or Greece and later on at the gates of Budapest. From there to the most courted Military Unit of V1 it was just a small step.

(Q) : Could you describe me the latest official cooperation between Eden and Far? How would Far describe its relations with Eden?
(A) : FAR was and still is the strongest Military Unit of eRomania and one of the most loyal to it's eCountry and alliance. As we intend to keep that legacy, any EDEN operation that eRO takes part in, it's an operation that FAR takes part in. On top of that we have 9 soldiers in the Mobile Corps out of a total of 64, a pretty decent percentage if you ask me. Let's not forget about current tanks such as oboj and oldmack who stand out in my opinion. Also we have miss Smara there who needs no introduction and our crazy Hoffa13 - commander for EMC RO division.

I will take advantage of this opportunity to remind zdlemmy that we have a postponed contest between FAR and Tuljani.

That being said, I will let Voice of EDEN's readers conclude on the level of cooperation between FAR and EDEN.

(Q) : What makes FAR stand out as a military unit? And please let us know, are you recruiting new warriors to your ranks?
(A) : Besides being a group of soldiers, FAR is first and foremost a group of friends. Friends who enjoy the occasional beer together, friends who celebrated about 3 weeks ago 3 years of FAR.



Under PMihai, our supreme commander we will stay strong and continue to help eRO and EDEN with their future endeavors. A testimony to that is the continuous presence on our chats of Beta dinosaurs such as Astromaniac or Bomberclad or tanks such as titillica (born in Day 0). At the moment we are comprised of 2 divisions: Alpha (103 cold blooded soldiers who carry with pride their scars from historic battles such as CH, LK, HK) and Bravo (38 eager youngsters who thrive to catch up with their older brothers). Now to our second unit in this article, I am proud to present you the Squadron of Light.

SOL - Squadron of Light was first founded in Russia as a crew of RL Bulgarian friends more then a year ago. The founder of the unit is saks77 which is also referred to by the nickname “The First”. What bonds this great unit is their RL bonds, standing proud for over a year is not an easy task.



Military wise, no doubt their most memorable campaign was the Liberation of Russia when they were fighting as a part of Phoenix. Although as we know the Phoenix did not reborn from its ashes, SOL did! SOL can now stand proud shoulder to shoulder with our toughest warriors after not only proving her strength but also the loyalty to its allies. About two months ago when the Great Croatia was cornered and left with only two regions all SOL members immigrated to Croatia and changed their citizenship's because real Brotherhood never abandons a brother.

SOL stands for cooperation and is definitely a group of “first in last out” warriors. Its message to the eRepublik community goes like this

“Hate the game, not the player”.
