[EDEN Media] Devil`s Soldiers in the Garden of Eden: ZDRUG and the Myrmidons

Today we start a new series. It is due time to get to know our heroes better, our legendary military units that won battles for their countries and implicitly for EDEN. We shall start with the Croatian elite unit ZDRUG and with the legendary Greek Myrmidons.
This series will cover all EDEN countries with all their elite units, so get ready for a tank infusion. While we read about them, our enemies will be hiding underground like rats searching for cover.



Myrmidons

Its historical roots stretch back to Achilles and his company of Greece finest warriors. To this day the Myrmidons proudly carry the legacy Achilles and his men forged by Troyan blood.

Myrmidons are one of the most powerful and historic military groups in Greece, since their existence goes way back in the V1 during which, it was the strongest Greek group of that time and proudly protected the territorial integrity of Greece and EDEN.

Myrmidons are not a mere military group, but their aim is always to create characters that would be qualified to offer their qualities in all aspects of community, not only inside of Greece, but also by creating strong bonds of friendship with our allies in EDEN.

Myrmidons` aim is exclusively the military superiority of Greece and EDEN, combined with the promotion and education of younger players.



This military group of Greece was recently reformed including a reform of their ranks which a part of it is the Nemesis Fight Team counting at the moment 91 members that are fully combatant and ready to bring hell to Greece and EDEN enemies. Their comeback was quite emphatic as in 10 days of full function Myrmidons managed to land more then 100 million influence in both Greek and EDEN campaigns, bringing the team to an all time high of the 2nd most influential military unit in eRepublik.

Myrmidons are not only a glorious military unit that is one of the finest in both Greece and EDEN, but also have lots of well respected members that occupied key positions as e😜residents of eGreece, MoDs, ambassadors in numerous EDEN and other countries and members of many Greek official bodies.

Leader of Myrmidons is Geokos, while its natural leader in v1 was Jaguaros, both players have lots of eRepublik experience and dedicated many years that contained much blood, sweat and tears of both happiness and joy

ZDRUG

ZDRUG are the finest of Croatia. Their name comes from a special unit which was active during the 90`s Croatian War for Independence.
In eRepublik it`s days stretch far back and the well known Croatian unit survived many downfalls and mountain-like climbs. It was founded about two and a half years ago on the 25th of December 2008 as Croatia’s elite unit force and serves till this very day.



Since the release of V2 this group suffered from the departure of critical members that left the New World. The ranks of ZDRUG are now increasing and their presence on the EDEN fronts is indeed very noticeable, especially by our enemies.

ZDRUG consists of about 70 elite troopers and is recruiting another ten, you can find the application form here. Even though ZDRUG it`s Croatian elite, they recruit troops from abroad as well. Soldiers from Poland, Romania, Bosnia, Estonia and USA are fighting side-by-side of their Croatian brothers.
